Actually bought these as a replacement for a nearly identical pair I've had for years. The workmanship is good enough that I spent the money to have the last pair resoled when I started wearing through the tread. In fact I've done one or two repairs on that other pair (same brand), to keep them going. I still wouldn't need to replace them if I could maybe find a different cobbler? Now this pair appears to be made equally well, but I was disappointed that I couldn't find a closer match to the previous style. This pair is a little bit"granny" for my taste, but I am hoping as the leather molds to my foot (yes I believe it is actually real leather we how well the last pair is still kicking) it will get a little more personality. I think the main style point I am disappointed with is the toe. My other pair had extra detail around the toe that broke it up a little bit. Overall, I'd say by this shoe or a better style of the same brand!

I bought this pair to replace a pair I bought years ago in a similar style. My old Eccos were great and frankly still have some life left in them. This new pair were so comfortable right out of the box. I like the styling better than my old pair, too. I often have fit issues because the toe part of my foot is an 8 1/2, while the heel part is an 8. I got these in a 39 I think and they fit great. At first I couldn't find them in my size, but Amazon to the rescue! And they were significantly cheaper on Amazon than on the Ecco site. I like the styling for work and for casual, and they're a nice transition shoe from my winter boots to my summer shoes.

I love these shoes but hate the shoelaces. When I bought them I didn't realize the shoelaces were the thin, round type that just doesn't stay tied. I have to retie every few minutes. As a result, I avoid using the shoes! I have another pair from this same company, but those have white, cotton, shoelaces and I have no problem with them. These black ones just won't stay tied.

ECCO is one of my favorite brands. The shoes fix as sized 40/M I bought two pair this summer. I can wear all day on tile or concrete and my do not hurt. Try it you will like it.

I love ECCO shoes and have been wearing the same type of shoe for years. Because I moved away from a Department store that sold them I had no choice but to order through Amazon. The picture looks almost identical to the shoes I thought I was ordering. They just arrived today. The shoes are not the same as the picture at all. Not only that, they do not even have leather in the soles of the shoes like all my original ECCO shoes had. So even if I was only disappointed with the looks of the shoe, without the leather, the shoe is very uncomfortable. I am not even sure if this is from an actual ECCO company. I won’t be ordering shoes on Amazon again. Very disappointed.
