This is not my first noise machine of this style and this one is very nice. The other popular brand I use has slowed down to a crawl after a few years on slow speed and no amount of internal cleaning and greasing is helping. I've had a look inside with a light and there is a metal fan and motor along with the nightlight on the top. It rotates as I would expect to change the tone and has two speed settings. I use low, though high would be necessary in noisy travel environments. I like a dark room and the nightlight has variable brightness from bright to dim by holding the light button. I personally don't use it but the wide range is nice and I could definitely see a use in a kids room. Overall a very nice unit. Some things I'd like different: - The nightlight reverts to the same brightness whenever it is turned on. I'd prefer it to go to the brightness it was last set to. - The buttons are 'touch' which is nice looking, but makes it impossible to change anything without seeing the buttons. - The noise machine reverts to off if power is lost and restored. Two issues is if we lose power with a blip, it will turn off; likely waking us up, and if used with a smart switch to use with voice control, it will not automatically turn on with the switch turning on. Overall a great unit and likely perfect to travel with.

Like Very easy to use and adjust Has a light Really like how twisting adjusts the tone Dislike Took a minute to understand the buttons on top are not really click/push buttons and more touch buttons. A little difficult at night to make adjustments of speed, light or off. Some sort of raised dots, or similar would help navigate these at night. This is currently being used to block out the noise of traffic outside. While I am sure it is beneficial for some to sleep with, it was just a little too loud (even on low) for my liking to sleep with while on but excellent in not hearing the constant sound of cars.

If you’re looking for a standard white noise machine that won’t overwhelm with features, I highly recommended this compact machine. The design offers high/low natural fan sounds, ambient lighting, and is powered by an included AC adapter. It’s classic, simple white noise. The AccuMed White Noise Machine does a good job of drowning out noise pollution without becoming too noisy. The sound adjustment is as easy as a twist. The controls are not complicated at all with 3 touch buttons. You can press a button for lightning which can be dimmed. There are two additional buttons for high and low fan. It uses an AC adapter so you don’t have to worry about recharging it. The only CONS I have: 1) It would be nice if the machine had a remote control. 2) Raised buttons. The surface is completely flat like a touch screen so the buttons are hard to find/identify without looking directly at the device. This is harder to do in the dark or if the device is on tall furniture which is why a remote control would also be helpful. Other than that, the AccuMed White Noise Machine is a great device and can be beneficial to many.

This is a really nice white noise machine. Very simple to use, just turn it on or off with the push of a button. It has a built in night light which is optional to use and I love that about this product. This machine is also very portable and very easy to adjust the sound and tone you want for your perfect setting. Just twist the base and customize it to your liking. I have slept with a fan for a decade or more to mute sounds as I sleep. This tiny machine has taking place over my big box fan. Love it.

The machine is small, portable, and aesthetically pleasing. My favorite part is that the sound it makes is not some recorded, artificial sound. There is a real fan inside of the machine that makes this soothing, calming, mesmerizing sound. Turning the shell also adjust the quality of the sound, between a more whooshing and a more hallowing sound. It is a super cool design. And frankly, the fan sound is the only sound I need. Lots of similar products offer other choices like rain and forest and such. But I really only prefer a basic fan for noise canceling. The only minor setback for me is the light. I wish there is a red light option as a night light, so it does not disturb sleep or mess with night vision.

Packaging - it was very basic with no cushion, expected some kind of inner cushioning or packaging Product- The product asthetics looks good, i have a 1 and a half year old baby who still uses a sound machine, she received well to this one. This is a unique concept which uses air and allows you to restrict to reduce or customize the white noise. It works well and produces a natural wind noise. The 2 modes are sufficient from high to low. I wish the night light had more dimming modes instead of just on and off, I found this very bright. I think at the right price point this is a great white noise machine that brings a unique approach. Easy to use.

I bought this for our 17 year old who likes some kind of white noise to go to sleep to and she loves it. Previously, she'd have the ceiling fan turned on high (even in winter) and she liked that noise so this device works perfect to imitate that type of sound. Very easy to operate and adjust. The night light is perfect, not to bright or to dim. For the money, we really like this noise machine and would recommend to others

This white noise machine is perfect for what it is advertised for, creating a peaceful background noise. The adjustability is one of the best features of this. It has 2 speeds which is great to make it louder or softer, but it also has a basically infinite amount of adjustability by twisting the body to open the ports more or less. The tone of the fan noise changes slightly along with the overall volume of it. It creates a very calming and relaxing sound. The light is perfect for a night light and it is adjustable in brightness. The only thing I could think of that would make this just that much better would be have a sleep timer so it automatically turns off after a specified time. I wont let that effect my overall review though as this has helped me sleep soundly ever since I started using it. Buy one!
