I have used many different planner formats, and in college I was a devoted bullet journal user to keep on top of my assignments and class/work/life balance. But for the years since, I've struggled to keep up with a planner because they never quite suited the needs of my schedule (and they often had too many bells and whistles that took away from the main focus—staying organized!). I started a new job recently, and my role has a lot of important tasks competing for my attention, so I knew I would need to break down my time by the hour sometimes in order to keep on top of things. So I was on the hunt for an hourly schedule book that wouldn't be too big or bulky (to keep in my purse) and would look clean and professional (since I carry it around the office to meetings). I also need to be able to plan my month in advance, and it's nice to have space for notes. Finally, I needed it to fit the budget! I tried this planner last year for the first time after using the Franklin Planner system for 25 years. I wanted to see if it could serve as a decent substitute since I wasn’t making full use of the Franklin pages anymore due to a shift in my professional needs. I am happy to report it is a great substitute for approximately 1/2 the cost, and takes up less desktop space. The most important feature for me is the hourly breakdown for Monday-Saturday, as I need to track time spent on different projects. I also need the daily “Notes” area provided at the base of each day. 10 lines satisfies my requirements for the most part. Lastly, the full month calendar pages at the front are great for seeing the entire month at a glance, so I no longer need the separate 12 x 12 calendar. I like the soft but sturdy outer cover, the quality of paper is the best I’ve seen in any calendar/appoint book! It has both the monthly at a gland to write in major events of the month, which I use the black ribbon as a book marker. And the weekly with the time that can be either AM or PM and I just pencil in my appointments and deadlines. That I mark with the red ribbon as a book marker. At the bottom of each day of the week it has a box which helps me with chores/tasks/errands that need to be accomplished for that day. It’s perfect! Please don’t change it! I get one for each of my kids. One of my kids uses the smaller version of it which she loves. We all put a different sticker on it to make sure we don’t mix them up. I take it everywhere I go. Done with app calendars that will record an appointment on the previous day. Yes, I will check it on the app up to 3 times and will change it to the previous day—> so done with calendar apps. The month views are at the beginning making it easy to quickly look through your months. Then breaks down your week in perfect hourly increments. This is very well thought out. It has plenty of room to put daily and weekly tasks, appointments etc. the one thing that I would have liked is that it cuts off time for daily activities starting at 7 am and ending at 8 pm. I work later than 8. It would have been nice to have a full day til midnight. But it works!! ... show more

Planner is very appropriate and helpful to homeschooling. I think though it said more in increments for patient, Dr. client meetings. I will use it because I don’t want to purchase another one but next time I will buy a different one. It is how it came across online.

Love this planner overall. Will buy again for next year. Don't like that the first day of the week is Monday instead of Sunday. Took some mental adjusting...smoth sailing now.
