    • Don't buy these A/C compressors they stop working after a month or two
I paid $1000. dollars to get my A/C repaired !I bought the parts! The GDSMOTU AC Compressors with Clutch CO 4918AC! I bought it and it only lasted two mouths. The shop that did the work said the compressor is bad. They will do the replacement of the compressor when I get the replacement for $600. As it was not their fault it went bad! I'm trying to get Amazon to replace it but they say tell them GDSMOTU A/C Compressors with Clutch CO 4918AC they said it has a one year grantee to if it takes a crap any time in one year (and that's what it did.) they would replace it! Lets see how good their guarantee is I'm waiting for the new replacment to arrive. If it does not get hear I'm going to stop buying from Amazon they sell junk and wont stand behind it, noer will they go after companies like GDSMOTU AC Compressors to make them replace compressors when the go out. Thank you, Cloyd Swem I'm waiting for the replacement but so is Christmas ... show more

Installed, and worked fine for 2 days. Then the serpentine belt got shredded. The compressor pumps the R134A just fine, but the pulley doesn't line up with the other pulleys, and there is no way to adjust that on my 2010 Honda Civic. This thing shredded 3 serpentine belts until I figured out that the misalignment was causing the damage. In the close-up picture, you can see how the pulley isn't fully covering the larger black circular part of the compressor, while the original Honda part does. I will be returning it soon, as it's unusable this way, and I don't want to take the chance of taking it apart and damaging something to get it to align. ... show more

Overall, save yourself from doing the task once again and buy a good branded part. Clutch failed after one full hour of use .
