We picked up an old beater police interceptor at the local municipal auction for cheap. Unfortunately, the A/C compressor was shot, and we live in Florida. I looked around and found that this unit was listed as an exact replacement and placed an order. I flushed the system to remove any debris from the old compressor, replaced the dryer, and pulled a good vacuum on it for a few hours to get any moisture out of the system. Charged it up, crossed my fingers, and the compressor whirred away as the vents got ice cold. Happy happy joy joy. Since then, I took a trek on the highway with the A/C on for almost 800 miles, and the A/C is still blowing cold, and the compressor is still smooth and quiet. 100% Satisfied, hope I stay that way.

My old compressor died just before the heat wave started so I ordered this online and the AC Compressor that was delivered which was perfect! It was as described and installed with no issues at all. The compressor was exactly the same as the original and it’s been a few weeks now and it is still working great. The price is reasonable, make sure you read all instructions before installing. The installation complete from start to finish took me about 2 hours. Arctic chill level air conditioning thanks to this fairly priced compressor.
