Installed last year seems to work well. First time I evacuated and charged with small can from auto parts store. This worked but left it slightly under charged and probably added more oil to the system on top of the oil I put in the compressor as required by the instructions before installing it. If you use the small can don't turn it side ways as the directions say to it just adds even more oil. You may need to add another ounce from a second can because the weight on the can may include oil. Even better to just recover evacuate and weigh it in from a can that has no added oil in it. I think my car called for 17.3oz the EZ Chill can said 18oz but that is probably including a couple ounces of oil. The EZ Chill can is hard to connect without losing vacuum. Using a set of gauges with the adapters fittings an electronic scale allowed me to charge without losing any vacuum from a large 30lbs can of 134a that cost me about $110.

I was skeptical as Honda’s are pretty picky about their parts and fluids. But since this was less than half the cost of the Honda OEM compressor I decided to give it a try. The fit was exact right down to all the fittings and pulley specs. It bolted right in and the included o rings held vacuum really well. I recharged the system and one week later it’s blowing out super cold air. Honestly might be colder than when I bought it new. I’ll update over time if anything changes but I am very pleased I gave this compressor kit a try because the cost savings was considerable.

Bought this for my 2008 Honda CR-V EX. Real easy plus and play system. Installed it this past July. So far no issues with the product itself but if anything starts to look otherwise I will try to come update. Packaging was very nice and well shipped. Overall good bang for your buck compared to other auto parts stores. Again, quality...time will tell but so far it works great!

I purchased this product for my Honda CR-V in May of 2018. I myself professionally installed this ac system with a real vacuum pump. Then today July 2019 the compressor failed and no longer cools the air. When first installed I could tell the compressor wasn't cooling quite as well as my original Honda ac compressor. This compressor works good but not great. You can tell it's not as good as factory once installed. It also fails within two months after factory warranty ending. (Buyer beware). I just contacted the company asking for a new compressor and if I receive it I would rate this 4 to 5 stars based on performance,longevity and price. But if I'm refused a replacement. Given the longevity of 14 months I would rate this compressor 1 star. Update: I contacted the seller: they stated "our warranty is 12 months" and did not replace the compressor.

Bought this because the spec part was over 800$. So far so good. The mechanic had to adjust it slightly, can't remember what he had to do but it's in their and working. Blows cold. Can't tell it's a different part.

I installed this for my daughters car over a year ago and it has had no problem. Those Honda's are tight on space though!
