    • Refrigerant Charge
Installed last year seems to work well. First time I evacuated and charged with small can from auto parts store. This worked but left it slightly under charged and probably added more oil to the system on top of the oil I put in the compressor as required by the instructions before installing it. If you use the small can don't turn it side ways as the directions say to it just adds even more oil. You may need to add another ounce from a second can because the weight on the can may include oil. Even better to just recover evacuate and weigh it in from a can that has no added oil in it. I think my car called for 17.3oz the EZ Chill can said 18oz but that is probably including a couple ounces of oil. The EZ Chill can is hard to connect without losing vacuum. Using a set of gauges with the adapters fittings an electronic scale allowed me to charge without losing any vacuum from a large 30lbs can of 134a that cost me about $110. ... show more

    • Bang for your buck
Bought this because the spec part was over 800$. So far so good. The mechanic had to adjust it slightly, can't remember what he had to do but it's in their and working. Blows cold. Can't tell it's a different part.

    • Exact OEM fit!
I was skeptical as Honda’s are pretty picky about their parts and fluids. But since this was less than half the cost of the Honda OEM compressor I decided to give it a try. The fit was exact right down to all the fittings and pulley specs. It bolted right in and the included o rings held vacuum really well. I recharged the system and one week later it’s blowing out super cold air. Honestly might be colder than when I bought it new. I’ll update over time if anything changes but I am very pleased I gave this compressor kit a try because the cost savings was considerable. ... show more

    • Strainer Filter plug did not fit. Overall still working
The filter plug for the AC Condenser did not fit. It came in two pieces and was not like the original. Honda CRV 2008. Had to re-use the old one. One best advice if your doing the install yourself is to remove the Front support for the Hood stand and remove your radiator + Fans. This makes life so much easier and then remove your condenser and replace the AC unit. Make sure to drain out this AC Pump and add about 7 oz of the PAG oil that comes with this. You may want to get a Honda Plastic clip set too at: https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Retainer-Fastener-Scrambler-Sportsman/dp/B008427D88/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1471464318&sr=8-2&keywords=Honda+plastic+clips -Since you will be destroying most of the clips covering the front and below the car. -Overall Install time is pretty straightforward and easy. Make sure you get a qt of Honda ATF fluid to add back in if you remove the Radiator. Best to drain and flush while your at it. Battery removal is a must for this. ... show more

Bought this for my 2008 Honda CR-V EX. Real easy plus and play system. Installed it this past July. So far no issues with the product itself but if anything starts to look otherwise I will try to come update. Packaging was very nice and well shipped. Overall good bang for your buck compared to other auto parts stores. Again, quality...time will tell but so far it works great! ... show more

    • Kit did not come all at one time - no assembly instructions.
Ordered kit and installed OK. First package came in without O-rings. Had to call supplier to get second tracking number. No assembly instructions came with first or second package. Had to call the vendor to find out how much oil to add - good thing. Compressor came with oil that was to be removed and add oil that came in kit. Supplier had to look up to see how much my 2008 CRV needed. Could have been much easier. ... show more

    • Can't say it was an easy fix, but if I can do it you can do it!
So far so good. I installed it myself, it has no instructions on how much oil to put in it or that you even need to drain it before adding oil before you install it. I watched a few YouTube videos to learn that. Does work better then I expected. Nice and cold!
