Product was great, well made and came with everything needed to replace the factory air compressor. One thing though there are NO instructions with anything, so you have to do a bit of homework to complete the install. Other than removing the wire harness clamp and using the one from the old compressor hose intake plate (which you have to remove from your old one and install on the new one by removing the cover plate) everything was direct fit. One thing that should have been mentioned, is that the compressor comes pre-filled with oil. I did not know this until after installing the pump, then removing the plate to install the old hose intake, and lost an ounce or two over the frame and driveway! The kit comes with a full set of new prints and gaskets, but no instruction as to what goes where, so take note not to remove the old ones until you can compare each with what you are taking off, as there are at least 6 different sizes. One more thing to note, on the 6cyl 4.0, it is easier to remove the power steering pump, radiator expansion reservoir and screen wash reservoir to get better access to the 3 bolts that hold the compressor in place. Removing the radiator and fan would also make the job easier, but not required. It’s a tight space, so removal of the mounting bolts is difficult but can be done with a basic mechanics toolkit. Be prepared to spend a whole day on the job, and maybe more, but is quite doable in that time. One more good thing to note is that the AC system on the 4.0 takes 6oz of PAG oil (in the whole system) and 1.25lbs or 20oz of 134a refrigerant, this would have been nice to have this information included as the kit is sold specifically for this setup. All in all a great purchase, and my Jeep has ice-cold 42 degree air once again, I would certainly recommend the parts and buy again.

Works fine. Installed a day ago. Thought it would function with TJ coolant hoses. Found out you have to remove 4 screws and metal plate & place the hose adaptors on old the compressor in that position. Instructions would be nice but... whatever... figured it out after looking at pictures.
