Purchased this on May 29, 2025. Installed it on June 20, 2025. Worked until July 24, 2025. This thing is garbage. It said it came pre-oiled but I drained it prior to install. It contained almost 1oz. Of PAG but my car’s system called for 2.5oz. I put brand new PAG (2.5oz.) back into the compressor and it worked as advertised for about 2 months. I should have known better than to go cheap even though money is tight. Sweat a little longer and save up for a quality part. ... show more

    • My Daughter's SRX is Cool Again - Just in Time for Florida Summer
My college-age daughter is kind of a speed-crazed driver in her SRX which isn't the newest car around but sure fun for her, and she keeps it really nice. But I want her to cool down on the speed, and stay cool inside the car - here in Florida you need AC even in winter, and you need need NEED it for sure in Summer, which starts in about February for Central Florida. Compressor fits fine and runs great with high pressures generating super cold output at the vents. Big RECOMMEND on this unit with the note that when you install it you should do as I did and be SURE to fully EVAC the whole system completely first, or the old junk will come back to break your new compressor. ... show more
