  • ABOK Ark3600 - Awesome portable power!
Set name: Ark3600
I bought the ABOK Ark3600 mainly as backup power for a Florida condo after a hurricane. I’m a contractor so I brought it to the jobsite to let the guys test it. I’ve used a 3200 watt gas inverter generator in the past and I thought it was quiet. The ABOK is silent. It turns on just by pushing a button. No worries about getting gas or pulling a cord to start it. We had a wetvac, a heatgun, and an SDS-Max hammer drill all working at the same time and the ABOK had no trouble supplying power. It was charging the batteries for our tools and we had cell phones charging on the USB ports. By the end of the day we were at 22% so the ABOK lasted as long as we did and could have kept going. The ABOK was less than half the price of the gas inverter generator and I’m always wondering if my gas generator is going to start if I haven’t used it for a while. I won’t have that concern with the ABOK. Like the smaller gas generators, you’ll only get 120 volts out of the Ark3600 up to 3600 watts. You also get several USB ports and some 12 VDC ports. It charges in a few hours from a standard 120 volt receptacle and it can be charged from 12VDC or solar panels. A huge plus is that it can be used indoors because there’s no exhaust fumes. It’s a little heavy at 92 pounds but totally manageable with the built-in handles and it rolls on built-in wheels once it’s on a solid surface. I bought this for power outages but it’s something that I will definitely use on a job with no power. I also had some interaction with ABOK support to register my product and April was wonderful. I’m so glad I bought it for the peace of mind. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT Customer service, and easy to use! Would buy again.
Set name: Ark3600
EXTREMELY good customer service! I bought two of these units because of the price and the features. It is hard to find a 3600wh unit for this cheap! The quality was very good, and both units worked well. Then I made a mistake - I evidently strung too many solar panels together and went over the voltage limit. (The wattage was still fine; I forgot to check volts!) I fried the solar input charger input! (The AC wall charger still worked fine, but the DC solar input was gone.) I explained my predicament to ABOK, and they were able to repair both units and ship them back to me under warranty! Now they are both happily purring away again under solar power! I use one of them to constantly run my internet and TV setup, and the other one for basic usage around the house. Their primary intention is to provide power during our Florida hurricane season, so I am using them constantly now just to make sure that they are easy to use. Charging - It takes about 3 days to totally charge the units using solar panels only. That depends upon size of the panels and the cloudiness of the day. Discharging also depends upon the load being run on it, but you can figure that by dividing your load into 3600. They are, of course, HEAVY! But with the wheels and the handle, it's not too hard to move them around. YES, I would buy these again! The only limitations I would say is the app, and that the unit is 120. I would like to have a 240 outlet. I wish the app had better documentation - you have to dig through some menus in order to get to upper and lower charge limitations. ... show more

  • Easy to use and great shipping, but capacity isn't adding up
Set name: Ark3600
rdering was smooth and customer service was helpful. Out of the box, this unit is extremely versatile and works with almost all my devices. It is quite heavy, but the wheels handle the weight very well when moving it around. Starting at a 100% full charge, I ran my fridge overnight. It averages roughly 100W/h (cycling between idle and active cooling). After about 10 hours, the unit showed 50% battery remaining. For a power station rated at 3840Wh, losing ~1900Wh for a 1000Wh load doesn't add up mathematically. Either the percentage meter is miscalibrated or the battery life isn't delivering what's promised. A few things to consider before buying: Loud operation: It produces noticeable noise, making it unsuitable for bedrooms or rest areas. Vague manual: The solar charge input specs could be much clearer. It lists 160V max but omits the maximum amperage limit, which is risky when wiring solar panels. ... show more

  • Honest review
Set name: Ark3600+ 400W Solar Pannel
An amazing set up. With Washington’s cloudy hit and miss weather it took 3ish days with the solar panels. Relatively easy to use and quiet. Charges fast once plugged in and portable due to having wheels in the back! Pricing is spot on.

  • I mean, it works but won’t save money or time. Not nearly enough power that’s advertised.
Set name: Ark3600+ 400W Solar Pannel
Not anywhere close to what’s advertised. This thing took 3 days to charge on solar panels. 400w panels only charged at a max of 260-280w. Pristine sky, no clouds, just the sun. Panels were changed every hour to ensure it was close to 90° angle. Panels removed when sun was going down and got below 200w. 3 days to full charge. Then we used it. Got 19 hours of use. 100% to 0%. Avg use was 110-120w at any given time. Power station itself did not see any sun nor were the vents blocked. Please advise. ... show more

  • Reliable power
Set name: Ark3600+ Extra Battery
The plug covers are not the strongest and break easily. The battery was great and was able to run my RV ac and the tv for the kids for the whole 4 hour drive. Works great and not having to run the gas generator saves money with today’s gas prices

  • Great backup temporary power source!
Set name: Ark3600
We had an ice storm one weekend, then the very next weekend a snow storm! I had NO backup power source for the ice storm. Thank the Lord, I didn’t lose power, but I was determined to get something efficient for my needs. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this one. It’s VERY heavy, so the wheels on it help tremendously! I Had to be creative to get it out of the box (I’m a woman). I carefully laid it on its side with the box top open. Sat down in front of the opening, Pulled it with my hands and pushed the box corners with my feet! Got it! I didn’t want to deal with a gas generator nor spend over $5-10k on a permanent outside generac generator that I’d have to get HOA approval for. I just needed something that would keep my fridge running until the power came back on, one lamp light, my cell phone, iPad and tv. This electric generator does all of that plus more on the inside of the house. No fumes or smoke. It’s like an extremely large power bank! It has a lot of ports for different things. Depending on how much you plug into it, it can last for hours if not a day or two. Hopefully by then, your power will be back on. Just remember to charge it back up after the main power comes back on, so you’re ready for the next outage. I didn’t want to buy those solar panels either to keep it charged. Just plugging it into an outlet inside the house works just fine until it reaches 100%. You can also buy an extra station that’s just as big as this one and plug it directly into each other if you need more power for more stuff or more time. It definitely fits the bill and a great addition to any household for power outages. ... show more
