These sneakers were a quick add on item for me. I typically read all RECENT reviews to get the feel for said item while shopping on Amazon. First off, these sneakers arrived very timely. Secondly, the quality is decent for the price! I wanted a pair of black lace-up sneakers to do my errands and these work out beautifully. Very comfy and super light weight, perfect combination. Look expensive, without the expensive price tag! Size-wise, I went with the Amazon recommended size, which is a half-size larger than what I normally wear, but I am happy I followed Amazon's recommendation, although, I my normal size could have also worked. If on the fence about getting these, as I was, you will be satisfied.

The overall quality is just "OK" but about what I expected for the price. The sizing wasn't entirely accurate as these ran a little narrow and small. But the biggest disappointment I had with these is that they are NOT "slip on" shoes. They have standard laces and there's nothing about the heel that makes it easier to "slip" into them. The price is what saves these shoes from a 3-star rating. These are very affordable as an OK entry-level sneaker or walking shoe. I wouldn't recommend them as a running shoe as arch support is insufficient to help protect from impact injury. Due to the sizing issue, I'll actually be giving these to a friend who has a half-size smaller foot than mine that is also more narrow. They should fit her perfectly and I'm sure she'll find them to be a suitable walking shoe. While I can squeeze into them (just barely) they are simply too tight for comfort.
