I’m 5’4 and about 155lbs. I ordered the size small/medium and there is definitely enough room. Typically I wear a medium or large in clothes. This two piece dress set was very flattering on me and for my intention to wear this to a renaissance festival all day long. My only complaint was the white/off white color of the dress was a bit sheer, depending on how tight you wore the darker piece over it it would hide it a little bit. The quality of construction is much higher than I expected, even after reading reviews. The under dress is cream colored and definitely needs a slip unless you like people mentioning your unmentionables. The royal blue is deep and luscious, like my lover’s eyes so … that’s cool. Honestly my only complaint is the fabric is a little sheer but i do plan on wearing a petticoat with it so it shouldn’t be an issue. the color is more cream but it is super comfy!

I needed an outfit for a Renaissance wedding. I tried all kinds of bustiers and belts to make an outfit. I ordered this "overdress" which is two separate dresses and it was perfect - I ordered a L/XL - I am generally size 10/12, 38C and I'm 5'8". The material of the white dress is soft and comfortable (it was a hot, humid day) and the overdress has laces in the front and the back so you can tighten to fit your size. The one downside is having to put the laces through the holes, which was tedious because the end of the ribbons are big and the holes are tiny. For the price, it was a great find! ... show more
