Its not very thick. But it serves my purposes. I put the splitter under a car port and wanted to cover it up as for someone driving by not to see it and want to take it. I took some long bungees and wrapped aroud it to keep the wind from blowing it off. Bottom line works for me. If i stored it outside in the rain and snow i would put a tarp under it or over it. Seems sturdy and well made. Bits to secure it down are really the best design ever. But I think I'll hold. And at least it fits well.

    • Durable weatherproof cover
Due to space limitations I have to keep my log splitter outside in the weather. So far this cover has worked very well and has not degraded in the summer sunlight or the winter snow/sleet. It only has one strap that goes around the tongue of the log splitter and that is a drawback. It gets blown off the log splitter unless it is secured with additional straps of bungee cords. Adding another strap or two or even grommets where you could attach bungee cords to would be useful. That's only a minor drawback though.
