I was shocked that this went directly on with no issues, I charged it up to spec and it’s been well over a couple of months and it’s still working, just as cold as before. Kicks on and off as should. Everything lined out just fine in my 04 V8 4Runner.

    • Gotta be an engineer if you got a 2006 sequoia
If u have a 2006 Toyota sequoia read this. There is a reason why this alternator is $300 cheaper than the Toyota denso. Number one you gonna have to take the two nuts provided and put them on the studs and rotate them out to put the top stud on the right side. You will also have to extend both of the studs out longer. Look for videos on YouTube. The bracket that holds the harness doesn't have proper seat. So you will have to drill a hole in your old bracket to use the screw hole on this alternator. This is a project 4x4 so I'm cutting corners on the stuff I don't need like ac parts. Also I poured some of the oil out. I don't know if I should've but I saw videos saying you only need 3 oz. Still need fans and a dryer and an alternator wish me luck. ... show more

Its in but the studs on the original Toyota AC compressor lines were about a half inch longer than the ones that come on the APremium one. But after looking for 2 days found longer studs with right thread. New compressor they come out of. 20 year old one studs don't come out. Pb blast torch pullers. U need to source studs to hold your coolant lines on. But charged up Ac compressor and blowing ice cold. Good compressor bad hardware ... show more
