Now know this I just installed it It does work great I also installed a new dryer It seems to be of good quality it is almost twice the weight of the one that Firestone put on lest then 2 years ago it was blowing the fuse under the hood tryed ordering the clutch for the other one could not find the clutch with the key way so just ordered a new compressor I was surprised at the weight difference this one is almost 17 pounds the description says it will fit a 2005 Dodge ram 5.9 Cummins but Amzon says it won’t I’m telling you it fits my 2005 Ram 2500 5.9 with no problems it lines up perfectly with the belt and bolt holes and the plug and the ac lines Amzon needs to change there fit info because the one they show fits it doesn’t have the same bolt on pattern I used Walmart 134a and it works great got temp down to 46 witch was surprising when I got the compressor changed last time it was around 50 Now this one is from china don’t know how long it will last but it is a lot heavier then the one I took off so it seems like it’s heavy duty and 60% less then what the auto parts wanted Will update if I have any problems with it and if you change your compressor you should change the dryer ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I replaced this compressor because the clutch was bad on my old one that only lasted 220k miles. The fit was perfect and after adding oil, evacuating, and charging it works perfectly.

Squeeled as soon as It was installed and they refused to refund more then 25% or replace it. Very terrible experience if your going to buy through a premium go through there official website as the amazon side of the company is not worth working with.
