I purchased this seat for a Craftsman DLT 3000 riding mower that was manufactured in 2003. This seat is the perfect fit should your mower has a mounting base that flips up toward the steering wheel. No modifications were needed. The seat came ahead of time, and well packed.

Fast shipping and nice quality. Priced a bit more than I wanted to pay for a seat for my old tractor, but now installed, looks awesome and is very comfortable. -Fits my Craftsman LT1000 with the same fastener as my old seat. -No modification necessary. -comfortable seat and seems to be of good quality -more cushion and higher back than the original seat

This seat is super comfortable. I did have to do a bit of work to make it fit my craftsman riding mower but in the end, it worked out pretty good.

    • DO NOT BUY - NOT SAFE ! Attachment holes break free and the seat swivels .
Update : July ‘24 . As stated previously, this is a bad product with terrible customer service . I used this seat less than four times before the inside attachment point broke free from the inside. It’s only glued down so any weight or movement breaks the glue off and the screws fall out . I’m 68 and I’ve already fallen off the tractor because of a loose seat and swiveled too far over and fell off . I’ve reported my issues with their customer service . Their first respond was to say I was over the 30 day window return . This is in a lawnmower , not something I use everyday . When I responded , they had me send pictures of the seat and the mower it was attached to . Since then they have responded at all . I’m out the purchase price plus I need to buy another seat to make the tractor safe to use . DO NOT BUY this product. Update : all the attachment points have detached from the inside of the base . The seat now swivels from side to side . I’m 68 years old and I fell off the running mower because the seat swiveled too far to left and I fell off on the ground while cutting . Thank goodness the safety features on my tractor engaged and stopped the mower and more importantly, the blades . The seller wants me to take pictures of the seat and I will have to pay a return fee for shipping as it’s past the 30 day window . I’ve used this tractor five times since replacing the seat . The seller also doesn’t include the cartridge bolts to fit and they didn’t even know the size of the bolts required. Pro: Many attachment points throughout the plastic base . The cushion is very thick and comfortable. The back is extended and is a very nice feature . Con: The main center attachment hole was not secured properly and I had to use tools to get that securing point straight and aligned to screw in the center knob . The required mounting hardware is not included. You will need to procure two 5/16” x 1 1/2 “ Carriage Bolts for the slide and side to side attachment points . ... show more

It’s hard as a rock. Had to do some “ re-engineering” but thanks to 20 different bolt patterns on the bottom of the seat managed to get it bolted up. A note to any one wanting to use this on a Husqvarna lawn tractor like I did, the seat adjustment mechanism is molded into the bottom of the seat on some mowers.
