Yummy choices of candies

The picture of this candy looks like mostly name brand candy - It is NOT. Yes there are maybe 4 boxes of Mike & Ike / 6 Laffy Taffy and 8 or so Smarties......the rest is cheap hard candy and such a mixture. Didn't open it but can see all thru the bag, I was going to return it and they will not accept returns. DISAPPOINTING!!

After reading the reviews, I decided to give this company a try with their mixed candy. I ordered the 6 pound bag and was pleasantly surprised to see brand name candy as well as some decent knock-offs. *** pictures provided Let me break it down: 6 lb bag: actually 5.75 pounds (92 oz) Brands: Mike-n-Ike, Airheads Knock-offs of the following brands: Smarties, LaffyTaffy, BlowPops, Bazooka Bubblegum, Lemon Heads, Fireballs, Italian fruit hard candies, AirHeads, Starbursts Generic: cotton candy suckers (2 types) and “chalk” candy (think candy cigarettes from the olden days). Out of all the candy there was only 1 unwrapped piece, 1 broken sucker, and 1 wrapper unrelated to the unwrapped candy. That’s huge. Freshness: All the candy was like you’d get at the store except for the the LaffyTaffy knock-offs (broke, not chewy) and the Starburst knock-offs weren’t bad if you let them soften in your mouth a little. That’s where they lost a star. One concern I had was how much gum for filler there would be. There was enough if you wanted gum, but not a huge amount (including the Blow-pops) if you didn’t. Our students have lost their privilege of gum chewing, so for me, if they had left the gum out it would have been ok. Not a total waste though. I’m saving it to add to our halloween candy at home.
