A description: A Day at the Spa; Reiki is one of the most relaxing DVDs I've ever watched. The calming music, ocean scenes, peaceful spa-like environments and caring therapies make you feel like you are actually at the spa getting a massage or getting a Reiki treatment. This ancient Japanese healing technique has elements of massage without motion. The improvement in health may come from the healing touch of the Reiki therapist who places both hands first on your head and then your neck, chest and finally the base of your feet. I've personally experienced the healing benefits while having a massage and I can say that you can not only feel the relaxing effects of this therapy, at one point hands were placed just above my face and I literally was so relaxed, it felt like I floated off the table. One of the most interesting experiences in feeling completely weightless for a few seconds. This DVD demonstrates Reiki techniques as performed by a healer, but you can also experience Reiki through hand placement on your own body to help yourself relax in stressful situations. There are many ways you can relax by placing your hands on your head or on your face in certain positions to reduce stress at the office. They say anyone can heal with their hands and this DVD will give you an introduction to the awakening of your own healing powers.
