Bought it and 5 mouth’s ago. Because mine went out and didn’t want to mess around to get a smaller belt. So I got this one and never used to till it got hot enough I wanted ac. Charged it. One night and the next day I had the ac on. It didn’t make it 50 miles and burnt up. Leaked ac refrigerant because it got hot enough ( without me knowing) it melted the seals. It worked but you definitely get what you pay for. After 2 months it started making a hard clank everytime the vehicle was started. Still worked though

    • Do not recommend. The bearings are already bad.
I had installed this compressor on my ram and not even a week later the bearings are bad in the compressor. They are squealing worse than the 200,000 mile original compressor. It’s properly oiled and installed. I am a 12 year master technician and highly recommend running an OE PART

    • Don’t buy will not last, noisy from day one and seems as if it’s going to fail soon
Used this on my 08 Dodge Ram 3500 , was very noisy from day one like clutches were loose or a bad bearing , once it’s warmed up it quiets down has 70 -80 miles on it . Our one from dodge lasted 227 ,000 miles ! Need better product !

    • Bad product Oster 3 cans freon
This product was installed on vehicle. It last about 5 minutes. It quit pump and got real hot. This had everything new, lines, filter, orifice tube and it burnt up Rotated head like explained on directions. Bad compressor. Would like to be reimbursed for the loss freon.
