Not easy to install but not terrible. Hardest part is disconnecting the plugs from the door panel as they are on the bottom and hard to see and one has a fold over flimsy plastic latch- easily broken! This part is working great- door lock unlocks now with the remote as it should !

Perfect replacement for good price. It's an old truck why spend 200 bucks for OEM? Hopefully it lasts. One of the connectors fought me a little but but it was also 10 degrees and plastic would rather have some warmth. This solved my dome lights not shutting off. my radio not shutting off. and my door open warning. Check youtube for an install video it's kind of a b1tch.

Replaced the driver's door lock actuator in our 2001 Tahoe a couple years back with the same part for about the same price from a different supplier that's no longer available here. The actuator failed again, though in a different way, so I ordered this one. The low cost balances out the potentially short life of the part. Installation isn't impossible, but it's not trivial either. After removing the door panel, you'll need to do some blind reaching to disconnect the various rods from the old actuator, and then again to reconnect them after the new actuator is installed. I'm sure smaller hands will have an easier time than mine. If you're new to the procedure, hit up the tube sites and forums for helpful advice. And it'll be easier if you have to a do it again a few years down the road.

2003 yukon xl. Just got it 5/3/22 watch a YouTube video how to install and did it in 45 min. It does work, I can tell it's not OEM but OEM part was over $200. but it works and now I don't have to climb in through the passenger door. All the plugs match and locks and unlock with my key fob. So now I give it a 5 star. Let's see how long it lasts tho for this price. But for now. It's great 👍.

This product does not deserve a single star. Latch was suspect from the start but figure I would give a chance to break in for a few days, then everything went south with lights and alarm. It killed my brand new battery because it would either turn interior lights on or set off alarm because latch would make car think it got un-latched. I wasn't able to install right away so missed return window by a few days!! Don't waste your money and time on this!
