There’s not a whole lot to say about ball bearings, but these are exactly what you’d expect in a good way. They arrived in great condition, and I’ve had no issues with quality or consistency. I like to keep an assortment on hand since they’re useful for so many different projects, and this set covers a nice range of sizes. The smallest ones are extremely tiny, which is great for more detailed or precision work. The storage case is a standout feature. It snaps closed securely, and the fixed dividers keep everything organized without the bearings slipping between sections. That alone makes a big difference when you’re working with small parts. Overall, this is a solid, reliable assortment and definitely worth having around. Highly recommended. Great item!

Ball were good. Case was broken at the hinges. Could have been packed better to avoid this. BB were everywhere loose inside the Amazon envelope. It would take forever to sort them out. I need them now, so I am not returning them.

The 3/32” were spread throughout the rest when I received mine but otherwise it was fine. I got these to use for replacing the balls in check valves and other similar things, where exact size isn’t critical. These appear to be well hardened, even if the sizing varies a bit. Since I plan to use them for non-exact things I am not too concerned. They also work well for paint mixing; I put a couple smaller ones in my airbrush bottle and use them to help re-mix the paint when I shake it. Useful assortment at a decent price point.

These ball bearings are made to extremely tight tolerances and are very high quality. Their dimensions are exactly as advertised. The storage container feels secure, so I won't worry about the balls getting loose in a drawer. They are also magnetic, so retrieval and collection are quick and easy. These would make excellent replacements in ball bearing assemblies, could be used in a pachinko machine or other games, could be sandwiched between two plates or boards to create a suepr smooth rolly/glidey surface, could be used as shot pellets/BBs, or as filler to add a malleable heft to any object. Given the versatility and the quantity included, these are well worth the price.

If you need to rebuild _anything_ you care about, you should probably buy a pack from a reputable source. My supply house has 7/32 304ss rockwell c25 balls in a 100 pack for the same price as this kit - so in the same ballpark, and come from a known supply chain w/ a cert. But i needed I needed a few 7/32" balls today, and thought it would be nice to have a few extra sizes around. In my case the device is greased, relatively low-load, and not itself "precision". These will probably work. On a reloading scale, I obtain masses ranging from ~0.718gr to 0.737 grains. This several percent mass variation implies a diameter variation on the order of +/- 1 thou. Twice (or worse) what a good bearing would have. But these are cheap, and an assortment, so frankly this is expected and why i've given it a full 3 stars. The balls have only the slightest magnetism, indicating the "304 stainless" is plausible. Note i tested only 7/32, presumably the other sizes are similar.

This set of steel balls is perfect for my resin craft projects and shaker bottles. The variety of sizes gives me plenty of options depending on the project, and they have a nice shiny finish that adds a little extra polish. The plastic case is useful for keeping everything organized, though it’s a bit flimsy, so just be careful when handling it. For the price, they offer excellent value and perform exactly as expected. I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it for anyone needing small, versatile metal balls. I hope that someone finds this helpful.

My first photo shows the organizer upon first opening, all of the 3/32" balls have migrated to other compartments. Small ziplock bags are incredibly cheap, it's disappointing they didn't do anything to keep this from getting mixed up in shipping. That said, the organizer case is at least decent enough that the rest of the sizes didn't get mixed, so it isn't as bad as it could be. The balls themselves measure between 0.0005 and 0.001 undersize, My second photo shows one of the 1/4" balls measuring 0.0004" undersize, this was the closest out of the 15 that I tested. On the plus side, they do appear to be properly hardened, they bounced well off of a hardened anvil and the chrome plating on them is very nice. For general repair, shimming, and bicycle use these will be perfectly adequate. For the price I'm not expecting the highest precision, the only reason I'm taking stars off is the poor organization. Having to sort out 3/32" steel balls is not a very fun task.
