This beautiful card binder is essentially protecting my nostalgia. The 90s were amazing times for comic book fans. So let’s journey back into 1991, when comic books reached a sales plateau they’ve never surpassed. This was largely due to incredible talents of two of the most well known icons and living legends in the industry, Chris Claremont and the one and only Jim Lee. The comic book was X-Men #1, and it was released as 4 first prints with a different cover that joined together to show the X-Men’s Blue Team battling Magneto. It sold 8.2 million copies, which is an absolutely astonishing number. What makes it even more incredible is how the reprinted copy of the first issue, which featured a gatefold cover, would bring that number up to 10 million. For me, this has everything to do with this stunning card binder. Why? It’s currently holding every single Jim Lee illustrated X-Men trading card that I own, as well as my collection of Marvel Super Hero cards. Jim Lee’s popularity was so high that Marvel commissioned him to illustrate the entire set of the first official series of X-Men trading cards, as well as the 5 stunning hologram cards that completed the set. It also holds all of my Marvel Super Heroes Series 1 cards. It’s well padded, and considering the fact that it holds 540 cards, it still manages to be fairly thin, and substantially less bulky than my massive binder that used to hold these cards.

Super clean look and a good binder. Side loading pockets so the cards doesn't fall off the top when open. Zips close with room so nothing snags. Ringless binder! I don't have to worry about rings denting my cards. Durable and sturdy and very easy to store.

Overall Good Quality Binder! Decent price, little more expensive than other's seen around on amazon. But, if you ok with few extra dollar's this has good build quality similar to TopDeck, With minimal branding (small A shape in the bottom right corner saying Card Binder). Overview: Good binder using built-in sleeves instead of O ring binder with loose pages commonly found. It's nice to keep you cards better protected from the potential damage O ring binders can cause when overfilled. Sleeves feel good and stitching holding the clear plastic holders to the pages feel sturdy. The side-loading pages are nice to keep your cards from falling out when holding the binder form different directions. To have a note that the pages feel slightly thinner than what you would find from TopDeck Binder pages. Not bad quality but thinner. Seems a little more expensive than other generic 540 size binders available. But the quality feels good similar to a TopDeck binder. So the slightly higher price than other generic 540 binder's but half the TopDeck 500 price is good. Overall decent price with good quality construction. Did find a few stray strings but nothing worrying. Using normal penny sleeves the cards slide in and can be taken out easily with no sticking occurring. Binder covers have a small cushioned feel and feels sturdy to protect the cards inside. Tested pouring some water on top of the binder and it didn't sink into the binder getting it wet. Picking up the binder I saw the water run-off like it should. Zipper is good and run's smoothly. Also, good to help keep your cards from falling out of the binder when moving the binder around. This is a more cost effective binder I'd use to store my sleeved cards in and feel confident they'll be safe in it.

Textured, padded cover with matching colored stitching Feels durable. Color is rich and deep. Smooth zipper with a rubber-like pull tab. Smooth, soft, waterproof inner cover can be wiped down just as easily as the outside for cleaning (which is a plus for me over the fuzzy or velvet-like inner lining on most binders that may eventually collect [or create!] pieces of fuzz.) Cards load at the side. The only thing that would make it better is if it was the 3-ring binder style so pages could be moved/added/removed. All in all, would I get it again? Yes.
