    • Light weight
This is a set of banners ready for sublimation. The banners measure 23.5”x47.5”. They are made of light weight PVC that feels like shower-curtain material. The material is white, but single layer and thin, so it is somewhat translucent. The banners have metal grommets in each of their 4 corners. Also included in the package are 8 roles of 1/8” wide ribbon for hanging the banners. No instructions are included. I have had good success using these banners to make signs for a race. With no instructions in the package, I had to use trial and error and the Internet to figure out what settings to use in my heat press. I finally settled on 350F for 30 seconds. The sublimation ink was absorbed well onto the material, but of course, the material is quite thin, so the ink bleeds through and the signs can only be one sided (unless you sew 2 together after printing). The metal grommets get in the way of the press, so you can’t print all the way to the edges in the corners. And it’s quite important to make sure you have some absorbent paper or rags under the banner to protect your heat press from bleed-through when you print. Overall, these banners take sublimation well, but they really feel like single use items because they are so light weight. ... show more
