Not the strongest wrench out there, but long enough to get leverage to pop loose a Jeep Grand Cherokee fan clutch. Had I known that O'Reilly had a loaner tool, I may not have purchased this. Overall, a good wrench for its purpose but a narrow purpose indeed. You want to use this to loosen anything else 36mm that is super tight? I suspect that's not gonna happen. This is thin like a bicycle wrench...not thick like a regular wrench. Again, perfect for a fan clutch but don't think you are gonna get a wrench that will work on towing equipment or hub nuts. Worth the money but know what you are getting and don't plan on using it for things it isn't intended. Update: the other thing this worked perfectly on was the nut for the pulley removal tool for the crank pulley/vibration damper. ... show more

I used this on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500HD (6.0 Vortec V8) I works well and is strong, I hit it with a bal pien hammer to crack the bolt loose and it held up to the hits. Very good product for a DIY at home mechanic, I’m not sure how this would hold up in the profesional field.

I used it in my Ford Explorer 2008 to remove the fan clutch that is 36mm. The wrench is hard metal ideal ti do this job.

If you do your own repairs on you cars, boats, lawn equipment. etc you know when you need a special tool to get the job done you would pay any price to have that tool. well this is one of those tools, and the good thing about it is the price of it. Trust me it was well worth the price.

The wrench fit fine on the fan nut of my 2004 Land Rover Discovery, however the belt slipped and I couldn't loosen the nut. I then researched some more and found there is a wrench to hold the pulley as well. I recommend buying both as I think that will work. As it was I couldn't get the nut loose.
