    • GREAT jug, ensures I get my daily water intake, and easy to handle.
LOVING this bottle! I'm prone to kidney stones and after passing one in Tokyo on vacation a few years ago (and taking 3 hours to find a clinic that would assist me due to my not being able to speak Japanese!) I resolved to start drinking enough water to avoid this in the future. Once I began drinking a substantial amount of water daily, I've been Stone Free (wasn't that a Hendrix tune?) for 6+ years now. This new bottle is the largest I've used yet, but probably the best. Love the clear markings, great handling, and relatively secure lid. Only downside is that I don't want/need the "straw" attachment, and it would sometimes drip on me when I tipped it beyond horizontal, as water would get into the Straw Port (don't know what else to call it!) even when the straw attachment was locked down. The solution was to put a blob of glue in the "Straw Port" (on the bottom of the screw-on lid) and that's solved that. Very happy with this! ... show more

    • Generally good but gasket is too easy to come unseated.
In general I like this and will use it. But a few things should be noted. First is that a half gallon is 64 ounces and not 87 ounces and this is definitely more than 64 ounces though I did not measure it exactly. For my purpose that is not important. The only real flaw is that the gasket that seals the cover to the bottle to make it waterproof falls out of it's seat way to easily In fact it is impossible to take the cover off and rinse this out without it falling out. This is something the designer needs to address if they want perfect reviews. This is not a deal breaker for me. I merely need to be careful when cleaning or filling. But it should be noted here so you are aware that you have to watch for this when you take the cover off. Other than the above, this is a fairly good and durable bottle. I ride a bicycle in the hot summer sun every day and I need a LOT of fluids. I fill this with ice water which by the time I'm done it's warm water. I don't like the fancy thermos bottles because they weigh too much and are often too complicated to use. So I ordered this. It appears to be fairly durable other than the above flaw and I expect daily use out of it for 6-12 months based on the way it appears to be made. A feature I like is that I can pop it open to drink from it without unscrewing the top off. I lost a screw top from another bottle right off a boat dock and ended up having dispose of that bottle so that is a good feature. The handle seems to be fairly sturdy as well. Despite the above flaw this is still a good deal and is one of the best in this size range I have attempted to use and at half the price of the next nicest one I have owned so that is a big plus and why I am only taking off the one star. I would not buy again. Why? It's a weird design, large bottle strong and thick. Has a huge mouth when cover is removed, has a final opening that's too small when you put the cover back on. It's not functional for me.

Very cheap plastic not thick or sturdy like other bottles. Put in freezer for extra cold water and bottle cracked. Also water tastes like plastic for the little time I did have it.

Gir this to fill up take in my car and wash my feet off when I go to the beach they have no shower to wash feet off so all being there own to wash off after going in water especially the surfers and it’s small enough to fit in backseat on floor and big enough to hold enough water to wash off!
