I was specially looking for some of these in a larger size, so I love that these are a bit over 3 inches. We are using these to look like bubbles in an ocean themed Kids room, so we filled them with like fish and ocean animals and hung them from the ceiling with fishing line. We comfortably fit 2-2.5 inch figures inside with some iridescent cellophane. They close pretty well. I've ordered some of these for Christmas ornaments before and sometimes they don't snap shut well or stay closed but I've had no issue with these. Since ours are hanging from the ceiling, they won't be handled much, so I can't say how well they withstand that. But my kids helped fill them a d they are at least study enough not to easily break when handled by elementary aged children.

These clear ornaments are made very well. The plastic is very clear - which is exactly what I was looking for. The plastic is also NOT that cheap brittle, easy-to-break plastic - it's more of a thick, soft plastic. I like that. I've had other similar ornaments in the past (by a different brand) that were very brittle and cracked easily. These ornaments are SO much better! The two plastic halves fit together perfectly. Once put together, they stay together until you twist them open. They do not pop open on their own - which is great. Each half has a hanging tab, so when you align these two tabs and put twine through them, that also helps to keep the two halves together. I ordered these ornaments to use for a bubble-theme cocktail party we are having. I'm putting bubble candy in some of these ornaments and will place them at each place-setting. Because I want them to look like blown bubbles, I've sanded off the tabs on these spheres. I'm using the remainder of the spheres to make a bubble chandelier that will hang over our home bar. The ornaments work very well for this project! The size is perfect for my needs. Overall, I am really very happy with the quality of these ornaments. I highly recommend them.
