The worst part of building outside is the leveling process. I hate digging holes for framing a shed, deck, walkway etc. This will make the project much easier. My ground has a slight slope and these will be perfect to get the 2x6 boards level. I can do longer runs with these to support the centers. I have seen something similar in the home improvement store but they are not adjustable. If I need a higher height I can use a cement paver to raise it. I doubt I will use the cement top and will stick to the wood adapter. For $3 and change for me it is definitely worth it. I plan to use this for a ground outdoor deck with a fire pit built in the middle. It’s definitely a time saver.

These supports have made it easy to get the deck stringers level when the foundation is not. It is a clever solution to the challenge of getting the deck level. The supports are adjustable so it’s no longer necessary to get the foundation completely level. They also simplify supporting the deck. Typically you would embed vertical posts in concrete filled holes. These supports eliminate the need to dig those holes and wait for the concrete to harden before laying the stringers. They are also cost effective since each support costs less than the bag of concrete needed for each vertical post. I have also used them for a deck built at ground level. The stringers are screwed to the supports and each support is adjusted to keep the stringers level. Then the deck boards are screwed to the stringers. As long as the ground which the supports are set on is stable the deck will be level.

In addition, its light weight but strong, compared to the traditional concrete base is more portable, greatly reducing my labor intensity. I also found it to be very stable, even after adjusting the height, to ensure that the SLATE is firmly placed on top, without shaking or tilting. The Good: Very sturdy and I think would handle the weight they advertise. Adjustable. This makes it easy to adjust the level of the deck. Good foot print, which also helps the stability of the block. The Bad: Not made for a 4x4 posts. Made more runners and then build off of the runners. The Ugly: Nothing Ugly to mention yet. We will see how long they last. They seem to be well built and i am not worried about it, but stay tuned.

I really excited about using these. I’ve been looking for options that doesn’t include digging and pouring concrete and these are great. They are easy to install and attached to wood framing materials such as deck and patio framing. I spaced them and then attachwd them to the wood at the intervals I wanted and then secured them with rebar stakes of two feet below surface. You can then start laying your flowering or other materials. I love diy ideas for ladies with practically no experience building or working with machinery and these are simply magic. They are made of super strong and durable plastic and are idea die guarding against rust, corrosion, and rot. Super great product.
