The cloth is smooth and the ball rolls well. Seems better than the worn-out worsted wool it replaced. I got the dark navy color. It looks sharp, it is very dark, almost black. I also bought navy color chalk (Silver Cup brand), but the chalk is quite a bit lighter than the cloth and leaves noticeable light marks on the cloth. I may switch to black chalk. I ordered the 8' Oversize. It measured 61x104" and the 6 rail pieces were 6x52" each. I was afraid to order the 8' standard size because the seller only guarantees it to be 51" wide and my slate is 50.5" wide. I had fun learning how to cover my pool table. ... show more

    • Nice felt. Thicker than expected.
Nice thick felt. The fact that it had pre cut pieces for the bumpers was especially nice. Fit well on the table and plenty of extra to staple to the wood backer under the slate.
