What use is this if I doesn’t lay flat so the liquid stays inside the mold? Absolutely has no benefit

They aren't non stick, they don't sit quite flat on the griddle and you have to wash them by hand to really get the scum off. I only tried with eggs. Maybe pancakes are better

I have wondered how diners get their perfectly shaped pancakes and omelets. The answer is cooking rings. I have some small rings for pancakes. I recently got these rings for omelets. As you can see from the photos, the result is a perfectly round omelet. In this case, the omelet was made with three eggs. These rings are made from non-stick-coated metal. I sprayed them lightly with cooking oil, but I didn't need to worry. The eggs did not stick to the ring. When I lifted the ring off, I had a perfectly round omelet. When I was done cooking I put the ring in the dishwasher next to a plate. It was cleaned along with everything else. I hope this review and the photos are useful for you.
