Wedding was on our deck. We just we just stuck the flowers in pots with dirt. . Beautiful. Wedding was in June and it is now October. They still look great, storms have not bothered ones in dirt. We had one we used sterfoam and flowers blew out of pot. So sick the in dirt. Flowers’s Fade resistant I plan on using them again. I love these artificial plants. I’ve had the most terrible problem with sear and squirrels, not to mention keeping things alive in the heat of a SC summer. It’s impossible. Thaw really look nice and they fool everyone. I don’t have to water or maintain them. I’ve purchased many over the last few years and they have weathered well in our full sun. This is a beautiful artificial plant. I spread the individual pieces and put them in a round 8"X8" heavy ceramic white pot. The green is realistic and the leaves look realistic and form a full perfect dome--very easy. to bend and shape. No sun fade, soil or watering! Pretty cute as far as fake greenery goes, and the price is right. Although, they are definitely not that realistic up close as they are a very bright, slightly unrealistic shade of green and they are very shiny. Also, read the instructions here on Amazon carefully because way, way down at the bottom it does finally mention that you should not place in full, bright sun. I didn’t read all the way to the very bottom and bought these because they said they are UV resistant. Bummer! They are NOT truly UV resistant in bright sun and they are not even holding up as the plants were faded, brittle and totally falling apart after 7- 8 months. Maybe they would last longer in a nice shady area. Perhaps a shady covered porch would be ideal for making them last longer? Just NOT for use on patios or in full sun. ... show more

Well, plastic is how I describe these. They do not look like RUSKUS greenery. Hobby Lobby's RUSKUS is a much better look and feel. These guys are plastic hard, and lighter green than depicted. I will use them as a last choice filler on my arrangements. Sad
