The tie down method that came with the cover was ridiculously inconvenient, not to mention it wouldn't have been good enough anyway. Who wants to lay on the ground to get the straps run from side to side and end to end hooked up and tight. It is supposed to be for a 5' x 12' trailer with a 72" high rear gate. No matter what I did and what was bought to try to make it an easy hook up AND pull the cover tight enough to prevent from sagging and collecting water, nothing worked. I put in cross supports, end to end support and after fooling with it for a year, I had one side tight enough to stop the water collection but could not get the other side to stop allowing water to pool up in the cover. I had it so tight that the last rain collected so much water it ripped a hole in the cover where the center support 2 x 4 was located. Spent 3 times more money trying to make it work. Should have had a cover custom made or built an enclosed carport and parked the trailer inside.

I bought this to cover tents, coolers, and gear for a trip with friends around Colorado. The cover has good and bad points Good Points: fits the trailer well, does keep the gear dry Bad Points: stitching is horrible, clips are very poor quality If you buy this, rig up 2 clips to the tongue just to jeep the front corners from blowing open, and just throw the rest away. Don't over-tighten them or the stitching will break (see pics) Then, use actual straps over the top of the cover, and use the excess strap through the side loops for a secure load. Add another strap AROUND the gate. This set up kept things covered in the backwoods and also driving 75MPH down the interstate. Update 06/2025 - After posting my review, seller offered me a refund for the product. I did not ask for a refund. I changed from 3 stars to 4 stars simply because of good business practice by the seller.

Fit my trailer, but just like other reviews I read-the straps tore right off the silver flaps with hardly any tension. Guess I’ll have to sew them on better myself.

I ordered a cover for a 5X10 utility trailer. It was too tight, I expect the corners to rip out. It barely fit and did not come down and cover the sides at all. Gently tighten the straps because reviews said they ripped out and they did. Not any pulling at all just barely snugged the straps and they pulled right off. So in conclusion, poor construction and miss leading on the size and how it fits. Very disappointed.

Very nice cover for my 5X8 utility trailer. This covers the deck and ramp only and holds water a little too well. i had to tip the trailer after a good rain and push down on the side to drain it.
