I wanted some nicer cups for my cold drinks, and these work wonderfully. Compared to similar options, these were the cheapest when I purchased them. So far none have broke, including the glass straws. I would recommend you do NOT wash the glass straws in a machine, and wash those by hand with the little bristle brush they provide. So I got these just before Halloween 2023. It’s mid January 2024 and we have already broken 4 of the 6 cups. The bottoms are quite thick, but the walls of the glass are very thin. One was dropped so it shattered. Two I had my entire hand inside the glass cleaning them and a big chunk cracked out of the glass. And the fourth cracked almost in half when adding hot tea water into it. These cups have quickly become my sons favorite to drink out of. He has some issues so making him happy in some situations is difficult.. Use extra cleaning up techniques if you do drop them. Like I said, they shatter.
