I ordered this Arti Botani 6ft artificial olive tree as a housewarming gift for my sister who recently moved nearby with her family. As a lifelong lover of real plants and trees, I've sadly had little success in keeping them alive, leading to the demise of some cherished and expensive specimens over the years. Initially hesitant about artificial plants, I've come to appreciate the beauty, remarkable realism, and practicality of today's artificial plants. At 68, my passion for interior decorating is as strong as ever, and I cherish these trees enhance any space with elegance and sophistication. This olive tree arrived swiftly and was well-packaged. I was immediately impressed by its quality and realistic appearance. The assembly was straightforward, thanks to the excellent instructions, requiring just a bit of time and patience to arrange the branches and fluff the leaves to perfection - a small effort for the immense reward it brings. I've seen reviews complaining about sparse branches or noticeable gaps (not pertaining to this tree), but it's evident from accompanying photos that the trees' full potential hasn't been realized due to minimal, if any, effort in branch arrangement and leaf fluffing. With a gentle touch and keen eye, this tree transforms into a lush marvel. If the leaves appear twisted or wrinkled from being tightly packaged, a portable clothes steamer works wonders. The tree comes in a concrete sturdy black pot, standard for all plants and trees, but I always prefer to invest in a large decorative container or a lovely woven basket to enhance both the tree and the room. A spray-painted dollar store find can work wonders too. I also love adding warm white string lights to my artificial trees, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. As my spouse and I are now retired, our indoor artificial trees have become our primary evening lights. My dear sister absolutely loves this tree. It adds a touch of nature, greenery, and elegance to her new home, and she's now looking to purchase a second one for the other end of her large sectional. The best part is its low maintenance - no worries about watering or pruning, providing a huge relief for people like me and my sister. Reasonably priced, this lovely olive tree is a worthwhile investment for those seeking quality and beauty without the hassle. The tree uses real wood for some parts that is mixed with a similarly colored resin? material for branches which transition (rather abruptly) to wire-containing stems and then the leaves and olives. The part where the two pieces of the tree join together really is hard to see once assembled. I wish there was more of a transition between the branches and the stems though. The branches look cut off and then a much thinner stem is pushed into the end. The larger stems have wire in them for positioning, but the ones closer to the leaves do not. The leaves have veining on their tops and a good color difference between the top and bottom, however, they just don't spread out. They stay squished up. If they were more positional, the tree would look much better. Maybe a hair dryer would help? That would be quite a job though. I'll try putting the tree in a warm location to see if it helps the leaves relax open more. The olives are done pretty well. They're all a bit shiny, but there are some green lightly speckled olives, some darker amber brown olives, and some duller brown ones. The three types are distributed well and they come in singles or doubles. The tree's height is just over six feet. It could be better, but I think it's pretty good for the price.

Artificial plants have come leaps and bounds on realism, because this tree has fooled EVERYONE who has seen it in my house. I think it's a combination of the high-quality texture and that it has the right amount of branches for this type of tree. It's also sturdy enough to not worry about pets knocking it over.

I'm so disappointed with this olive tree. The one I receive came with two branches broken off and I can't get them to stick back in. Tree is not sturdy. I have it on flat surface, vinyl plank flooring and it tips. I don't know the two missing branches effects the stability but it will not stand up on it's own. I put this in the corner of my patio because I can't use it in the house. Aesthetically, I love it but what good is that if I received a tree that not usable?

I love growing olive trees and have quite a few of them. I wanted to have olive trees at our seasonal lake cabin, but since we are there only occasionally, artificial plants are the only kind that work there. This artificial olive tree gives me the look I want, and it doesn't require care. QUALITY I have 11 other artificial olive trees by different brands. This brand is definitely one of the better ones I have. This artificial olive tree is made well. The olives are made of a plastic that looks real and the fabric for the leaves also looks fairly real. The leaves are fairly dense (especially compared to the other brands I have) and there are a lot of branches. The wood trunk looks good - like a real trunk. It is much better than some of the other artificial olive trees I've seen that have plastic trunks. From a distance, this tree looks real enough for me. When you look at it up close, you can tell it's not real, but for my purpose, I'm okay with that. The pot that this tree is in is very small. I dropped this pot into a large, more decorative pot and topped it off with decorative rocks so it looks much better. PACKAGING and ASSEMBLY The tree was very well packaged - it was tied into the box to keep it from shifting. Just remove the plant, place the top branch onto the base, then slightly spread out the leaves and branches to make it look more real. Overall, I'm happy with this artificial olive tree, and I do think it looks good at our cabin. I do recommend this plant.
