This is a good organized set of ball bearings that can be used on bicycles, drawer slides, ratchet tools, power tool detents, and a variety of other things. They are nicely organized in a plastic case with clear information of what each of the ball bearings are on the under side of the lid (which is great). Includes sizes from 1MM to 8MM, with half-sizes also. (1/2/2.5/3/3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5/ 6/7/8mm). The size range is great, goes from super tiny, to fairly large. This will be a nice functional set for any shop or garage. Plan on buying another set with the larger sizes (10MM+) so I have what I need available. The quality of the stainless steel is immediately apparent. Each ball is perfectly spherical, highly polished, and feels incredibly durable. I've used several of the sizes so far, and they worked great. The clear, labeled compartments in the storage case make it incredibly easy to find the size you need quickly, which saves a ton of time and frustration. I would advise having a set of tweezers when handling the smaller bearings, my sausage fingers do not work well with the little ones. Product is exactly as described on the Amazon sales page: Seven hundred ball bearings in all small sizes. Uses: You can repair any wheel. However, these can also be used as ammunition for sling shots, which is why i got them. I suspect, but do not know, they might also be use as shot for shotguns, perhaps in BB guns, and certainly in old-time muzzle loading long-guns. The bearings are smooth and shiny. They are not pre-oiled or otherwise lubricated. You will need some CLP, WD, or similar light weight oil or grease to use them effectively. Running dry bearings is possible but they will stick and wear out very quickly, possibly even ruining your skateboard or bike hub. As ammo for slingshots they work great. Since they are shiny they are easier to find than rocks. Since they are round they fly much truer than oblong pebbles. They also work great for their intended use, as bearings in a bike. I was able to quickly and easily repair my old bike, though these are not the modern pre-seated "cased" style bearings. You would need "racers" and grease if you wish to repack cased-style bearing packs with these. You can, but most people these days just buy new ones. Great product! The Good: * Bearing sizes are very accurate, within 1/10 of a mm * It's a nice assortment of ball bearings for a variety of projects The Meh: * While it's a good variety, there aren't a lot of some of the most used sizes, but there's a slew of the really small sizes you may not need * The price is a little high for the size of the assortment. A couple other brands have large assortments with more total ball bearings for the same price or less The Bad: * Nothing bad The Verdict: First of all, I like this brand and have a number of different assortments of screws from them. Everything is always extremely precise and well made. The biggest issue I have on this one is price and the fact that over half of the assortment is super tiny (1-3mm) ball bearings that I don't see a huge need for...it feels like padding the numbers. Overall, I do recommend it as they are high quality, but make sure this assortment has what you need in it. ... show more

This review is for an assortment of ball bearings, sold as Amazon ASIN B0GSZYWHPT by seller LuKaiSen. There are multiple product variants listed under this ASIN differing by primary dimensioning; I ordered the imperial/SAE sizes. The assortment ranges from 3/32 to 8/32 by 32nds. More conventionally, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, and 1/4. This is pretty much any small ball bearing you might need for bicycle or caster repair if they use imperial sizes. There are 100 of each size, except the two smallest are 150 of each size. Most of the sizes were clean and bright; the 1/8 size were somewhat dirty in my set. The ball bearings are provided in a recloseable poly box. At the time of this review, the assortment is listed with a coupon offer to bring the price to below USD$7, and at that price I'd say they are a good value. ... show more

If you can keep them sorted that way, you will readily be able to find the size of replacement ball that you need for drawer slides and circular ball bearing assemblies. I have run into problems in the past where a kit like this would have really been handy to have on around. So, I decided to finally get one. The storage case is pretty decent and keeps all the different sizes well sorted. I couldn’t get over how small those 1mm ball bearings are! I don’t think I ever will need those but who knows what the future will hold. The ball bearings in this kit all have a nice shiny finish to them. I didn’t notice anything strange like any of the ball bearings being malformed or having rough edges or burrs. They seem to be pretty good quality to me. ... show more
