Of course these panels are not for industrial use. They are designed and built more for the smaller type hobbyist. You could easily build a dog or cat house from them or even to side or roof a very small shed. While most all metal of this style is sold and based around gauge thickness I could not find any sales wording that associated this metal to the normal standard thickness rating. Yes - you can bend it fairly easy but I wouldn't call it "floppy." if you back the metal with wood - USB or Plywood - then your not going to have an issue and is exactly how I used mine. Metal arrived with no bending on the corners or otherwise so in my case the packaging offered sufficient protection. I also liked that screws accompanied the order so I didn't have to worry about acquiring those separately.

Typically rolled roofing is available locally in custom lengths rolled in situ. I have a summer project to make some small wood sheds and 4 of these panels will cover the roof. It’s pretty typical looking rolled roofing flat packed in cardboard. The quality looks fine although the sheets feel a bit on the thin side but I did not put a micrometer on them. The factory packaging for these might need some attention. Mine had minor damage. The larger sheets probably would need to be palatalized but a bit more ridge protection would help. (see pics). So check for damage asap. A surprising product but pretty convenient for smaller projects. 4.5 Stars – only the factory flat pack need attention. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings.

Absolutely love the panels. However, the corners on one side on ALL panels had been damaged, bent just a little. Additionally, there was a bend in the side of the panel. Not enough to make me send them back, but aggravating. Very easy to install, but the fact that they are not heavy weight probably is what caused the damage. I still like them and the corners are covered and not noticeable.

So these roofing panels are not for house or garage builds. These panels are very thin.013 is actually thinner than what my metal gauge setting has as the thinnest which was .018. So think if you pick up the panel and shake it, it flexes and waves. I think for what I roofed with these which is a small shed that houses my hand tools then these panels are 5 ⭐. None of my panels were bent at all, so that was partly my reason for a good rating. In order to complete your roofing project, you will need a roof cap, and sides. Also, I highly recommend using clear roofing sealant for the seams, and on the screws to prevent any leakage. Very easy to install and created the look I wanted on my small shed roof. As far as quality these are not comparable to the metal roofing that you would put on a house. In my opinion though the value is great compared to what you would find at big box stores.

These galvanized roofing panels are perfect for roofing a shed, lean-to, or other project requiring some type of basic roofing need. The size of the panels are ideal for handling and the gloves included in the packaging are great for providing a no slip grip and proving protection against some of the edges of the panels. Illustrated instructions are provided as well as exterior and rust-proof self-tapping screws with rubber washers. The thickness of the panels are ideal. Thick enough to be sturdy but thin enough to be cut with sheet metal cutters without too much effort. These are a good value and I would definitely order more if needed.
