The Fesorsi steel chain kit comes with everything you need to get started making some nice bracelets, anklets, etc. The kit also includes a handy tool for working with the tiny but very strong chain. What I liked most is that the kit came available in two options: 60 feet of one color or 6 ten foot lengths of a color assortment. I showed this kit to my wife the crafter and she immediately told me it was something she would like and have a use for, making previously mentioned bracelets, anklets, and necklaces for her doll creations. She instructed me to get the 6 color kit for variety. We found that even though the chains are rather "dainty" looking and small, it is very tough chain and holds up well under stress. And even if a piece of chain might break during crafting, 10 feet of each color is a lot to work with and allow for repairs. Beyond the recommended uses on the product page, we have a few necklaces that are in need of repair and I'm certain that in the not to distant future some of my old favorite necklaces will see the light of day once again! I have some turquoise stones that will be ideal to thread onto the small size (0.78") chain that were previously threaded onto cheap fishing line that wasn't so sturdy. The Fesorsi steel chain kit came nicely prepared with each roll of chain securely fastened to prevent them from coming undone. What's amazing is that the provided lobster clasps also come in a color corresponding to each chain color so you don't have to make something and use an off color which can throw off the overall look of a project. For example, a silver clasp hooked to a rose gold colored chain just might be appealing to some. The same aspect applies to the 300 jump rings also included in the kit. Each is colored to match the chain you are working with. I don't think you'd be sorry getting this kit for yourself either! Steel chain kits like this are handy to have around. The extras supplied with the kit such as the pliers and tape measure are equally as nice, maybe not as necessary if you already have them in your tool arsenal, but a nice touch that makes this kit more complete and a great start for someone who is just getting started in working with the art of steel chain jewelry. The included jump ring tool is a definite asset for working with the tiny jump rings. I did notice that some other kits don't include this for some reason. It's also nice that instructions were added to the Fesorsi steel chain kit so you can get started with some practical ideas right away. Overall this is a very nice kit that I feel is oriented to crafters just getting started with chains. The price point reflects this somewhat as the price is a bit higher in comparison to other kits that come with just chains and clasps. So with the added pliers, I can see the price being very fair, and can certainly qualify recommending the Fesorsi steel chain kit to experienced crafters as well as those just getting started. Would make a great gift as well for responsible kids likely in the early teens and up range.

This is a nice set! It comes with several extras, including pliers, a thimble/jump ring opener, and a hard copy of the instructions shown in the listing's images. This is fantastic for someone just starting out! I'm not new to most of this, and I already had a lot of findings in different colors, but I only had jump rings in silver and gold. Not only does this help fill in that gap, but they and the lobster clasps will match the chain exactly, since they were made that way. I haven't needed much chain with the kind of jewelry I've been making, but this opens up my options a lot. I'd looked at buying some chain before, but it was hard to find a style I liked that was affordable. A set like this is great because I don't need a lot of chain in a particular color, so having shorter lengths and a bigger variety is perfect. I'm glad it showed up in Vine when it did! Each roll of chain has a strip of plastic cling wrap around it to keep it from unwinding, which is very convenient. It could otherwise be easy for the chain to slip around the spool and tangle, even though the box holds the spools in place. It doesn't pretend to be super high quality with genuine precious metals, and that's fine. There's nothing I would consider to be low quality. Even with Vine, I just wanted some affordable chain, and this fits the bill! It looks good, and it's as strong as you would expect. No complaints here!

This is a fairly nice jewelry making supply kit. The chains very thin but quite sturdy. The findings are of decent quality. The included pliers don't seem to be top grade, but they are very functional, which is of utmost importance. The jump ring opener is a fantastic bonus and adds a lot of convenience. Wish I had gotten one sooner. Overall, I would say that this is a mid-grade kit quality-wise. The fact that it is bargain priced at the level of a lower quality kit makes it a fabulous buy. You can make a lot of pieces with this kit while keeping costs low. If you make a lot of fashion jewelry or need chaining for acrylic suncatchers, this is a good option.

I really like this chain. It is thin, fine chain but it is strong and durable. The chains are nice and shiny. You get a good variety of colors so you can do more than just the usual silver and gold. It comes with matching lobster claw clasps and jump rings which is nice to have, especially if you usually only have silver and gold findings, so you will not have to buy clasps or jump rings of those other colors just to make something. It also comes with a pliers and it is an average one, kind of the cheap freebie type of pliers, but it works just fine and is very useable. There is also a tape measure, a jump ring opener/closer finger tool and a polishing cloth. The little polishing cloths are nice to have on hand when you work with metal chain and findings. Overall it is a really nice set of chains with some good bonus extras.

This set contains a variety of 6 different colors of chain. It also includes matching lobster claw clasps and jump rings in all 6 colors so that jewelry pieces can be made with findings that exactly match the chain. This is very useful because it will look a lot better having jump rings and clasps that match exactly than it would look if it was necessary to use findings that didn't quite match. All 6 of the colored chains are the same chain, just in different colors. It is a thin and delicate chain and is really pretty. This is exactly the chain I would have chosen if I were selecting each chain individually. I don't like chain that is too clunky. I am very happy with this set. I'm glad to have he option of choosing among 6 different colors in my jewelry making.
