From time to time, I buy a six-pack of readers. I think someone in my house borrows them and forgets where they get left. Some perish because the frame around the lens gives up. I can't complain about the price. I bought these because I wanted a 1" high lens to see better above and because I've had good luck with inexpensive spring-loaded framed glasses on Amazon. The best thing about these is their low weight, which aids in keeping them in place. However, the frame arms are sharp on the top and will need sanding. The arms, while the same length as previous models are not as comfortable. It appears in the reviews that something has changed with these. There are better readers for the price on Amazon, but I can't complain about the quality for the price - except to say I would have done better at the dollar store. ... show more

Other's I've gotten had the imprint on the inside bridge or stem. This is a little annoying on the lens.

I love that these are less distracting than color frames. I also love having spares when I inadvertently lose the ones I'm using at the moment!

I have ordered many boxes of these glasses. They have always been great! However, on this last shipment, 2 boxes, 12 pair, all of them have sharp edges on the arms, where the two pieces get molded together. They are quite sharp and feel awful when putting glasses on and off. They are especially bad where they come together, at the end of each arm. Would like these replaced. ... show more

The are great little readers. The spring-loaded hinges make for a great fit. They don't fall off when you lower your head. Would definitely recommend these. I got siix pairs of these for the same price as one pair of drug store readers without the springs.
