I’m working on these sets now. It is looking amazing! I didn’t know if I would like this type, but I love how it’s coming together. It’s the perfect size and the numbers are small but still able to view. Sometimes lighter colors will show the number but if you put several coats on, or white out and paint over it, it shouldn’t show. Or barely show. Especially from a distance. A lot of fun for all ages. Makes time go by and you can hang it as soon as you’re done! Coming in a 4 pack makes it nice as you can put all four together or split them up in areas. Easy to set up and use. Good quality and it’s a little expensive but it’s worth it for the fun and forever lasting little piece of art

However, must have 20/20 vision and a very steady hand. For me, the numbers are too small. Unfortunately, I am not able to do these. My opinion, difficult for a beginner, young or old.

I finished my first picture today and while this is not museum quality, it was fun to do. This was an exercise in patience for me and is what I need at this point. First, I am an old lady and even using extra lighting, reading glasses and a magnifying glass, some of the numbers of this are REALLY small and hard to figure out. But who really cares if it is a 6 or an 11, the number is going to be covered up and no one will know. Second, as someone else commented, the colors are really not as bright as shown in the photos. True, but you can make they brighter by adding another coat of color, AND by using a thinner coat for that extra coat. You can also add whatever highlights you want - who is going to know. I enjoyed this and look forward to the next one. Hopefully, they will improve as I continue. Update:: Well, I finished all of them. They were a test of patience as some of the numbers are hard to see when you have painted around them. But I enjoyed these and while they are not museum-worthy, my family says they are OK. May try some more soon.

Don’t buy this kit Worst paint by number kit I have ever bought (and I’ve bought many) The canvas is good but whoever put it on the frame buckled 3 f the 6 canvasses. These paints become paint is thick … like most kits but when you thin it with even a few drops of water it becomes sheer and you must use 2 or 3 coats on every color. Usually it’s just white, red, and orange. The brushes are always sub par. The pictures are wrong … they show 18 colors for each painting … there are only 12 which means a painting that looks more like a comic book than a painting. I am using my own paints and adding more colors.

Not sure this paint by number is worth the price it’s listed at. It is okay, and I do appreciate the attempt to have it on stretched canvas. However, the lack of care it looks like it has when attached to the canvassing wood is showing. They are loose and buckling and has no integrity when it comes to actually being attached properly. Might as well just have them loose off of the wood at this point. The paint is thicker than what you would think of when you use acrylic paints. The colors themselves seem decent, vibrant. Though when you use them, and despite the thick consistency, you will actually need to paint over places at least twice to get a solid coverage on them. Many areas are VERY tiny and I do not think that would be very easy for kids to follow. I would recommend this for much older patient kids and adults. I would also invest in a very fine detail brush set to accommodate the many almost microscopic details they have in these. For myself, I was able to make this work, for the average person… I would not recommend this to you.

Unfortunately the canvas comes folded instead of rolled. So make sure you steam it. Do not iron! Other wise the paints were properly sealed and labeled and the brushes were decent. This was an easy one to do. But still very fun
