I have dropped these glasses so many times on hard concrete / tiled floor and they have never broken. The only complaint would be that I would like to order 4 pair of the clear frames, but they come in a variety pack of 2 dark and 2 clear frames.

I've purchased three other sets of readers similar to these, but these are my favorites so far. One thing I've noticed about other models is the frames themselves are convex, which looks a little weird and cheap. These, however, are solid and look more like designer frames. The different colors in the pack give me some variety to match what I'm wearing, which I like. The clear pair wash me out a little, so they went on my nightstand for bedtime reading. They fit well, and the spring hinge is a nice touch. I have a square face with a broad forehead and find the shape flattering. I think other buyers who are saying the blue blocking feature doesn't work aren't doing the card test properly. Put the card partially behind a lens, and then shine the blue light on it. You'll see half the white strip turns purple, but the part protected by the readers remains white. If these last decently, I'll order them again.

I just needed some cheap, semi-disposable reading glasses for work. These fit the bill. If they fall and break or if I lose them, I'm not going to cry over losing $2.50 and they fit okay. The strength is pretty good and I can see clearly enough in them. The black ones are slightly dorky-looking, but you can wear those at home (where nobody sees you and you don't care about looking like a dork).

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!! Ever since I first started needing reading glasses at age 42 (won’t say how long it’s been) I have worked at finding ones that were both comfortable and effective. My first ones were prescription, to go with my contact lenses and those were great except I dropped $1000 at the doctor that day. Contacts, regular glasses (when not wearing contacts), reading glasses to wear with contacts and reading glasses to wear without contacts (I just didn’t like bifocals). Anyway as the years passed I eventually only needed reading glasses and my doctor even recommended getting drugstore ones. I tried them all from the super cheap to the $25 per pair. I misplaced them around the house so I usually liked to have 5-10 pair. But I found they broke so easily, the tiny screws worked their way out and a side piece fell off, the lenses were cheap material and became scratched and cloudy very quickly. And the worst part was the nose pieces. Some would have a nose piece of smooth plastic but most had the ones that were standard on glasses, the small hard pieces that were supposed to be comfortable. However I have very thin, sensitive skin over the bridge of my nose and wearing these glasses rubbed my nose raw quickly. I was in pain constantly but I needed my glasses especially after my husband died because I began to read for hours at a time. Then I accidentally stumbled across these glasses here one day. They looked good, seemed to have the features I wanted and the price was terrific so I ordered them. Talk about the purchase of a lifetime. I honestly can’t remember the last time I was so happy with a purchase. The very best thing, for me anyway, is the nose piece. So comfortable and I can wear them for hours at a time with my sensitive skin remaining totally intact. The funny thing was that although I have 6 pair, I realized that they wouldn’t last forever and I’d need more eventually. But I couldn’t remember where I got them. I thought I’d found them online accidentally but after searching every purchase, I couldn’t find them anywhere. Then I came on Amazon to get another purchase and there these were, just asking to be repurchased again. Which I’m going to do, maybe more than once. I can’t recommend them more highly. And on top of everything else, they even look good! Update: it’s only been a month but that’s usually the time when other glasses started to show faults. A big problem is often that the lenses get scratched and cloudy. I only have sight in one eye so I need clear lenses. I was going to bite the bullet and pay for custom readers but decided to try these. I’ve been alternating use of the 6 pair but so far no clouding or scratches. I’ve been known to wear my glasses 12-18 hours a day so they get a workout. So again I’ll repeat: LOVE THESE. I’m ordering 6 more so I can put them in my purses too. This company has a winner.

Glasses look decent, fit well, vision quality is good. However, quality is clearly not top and already feels like the lenses could pop out when I clean them or the hinges snap if I’m not careful with them. But six pair for $25? Bargain.
