This set had lots of great details. The cap has a lid on it. The puff brush can twist up so that they cap goes back over it securely. The whole set lowers and rises with the twist of the wheel at the bottom. I would say that the brushes themselves are a little bit smaller than what I normally use on a daily basis, but this is nice for tossing in a bag for traveling or touch-ups. Great price and super convenient.

Since this brush set is compact and portable, it's perfect for tossing in a bag or purse. The handles of the brushes are very short, but the synthetic bristles are big enough to use for touching up makeup. The ferrules are metal, and the bristles don't shed. The blush brush expands and contracts, folding up into a small capsule that fits nicely into the container. The lid has a glass mirror on the underside, which is just big enough to see a small section of the face at a time. My favorite thing about this set is that the brushes rise and lower as the base is rotated. It is really a nifty little set. My toddler finds this fascinating. It kept him busy for over forty minutes! It would be great for travel or even as a stocking stuffer or gift basket item.

When the description said mini i wasn't expecting these brushes to be this little lol. So they are functional but because they are so tiny i don't see myself using these brushes to do my makeup on a daily basis. It is not easy working with these short handled brushes. I feel this set will be more useful for touch ups on the go. You could also use this for travel because they are really compact and can be conveniently carried however personally i wouldn't use this set for travel as i feel i will be wasting more time trying to make this set work, i would rather carry just few full size brushes and get my makeup done. The brushes are reasonably soft but i feel they are not the softest. I will say that they are very cute but unfortunately in terms of performance these brushes don't make the cut for me.

Perfect for gift bags and stocking stuffers for the tween, young person or newbie to make up. Travelable case that be stored in purse, gym bag, glove bag or make up bag. Brushes are small but perfect for touch ups and a little mirror is on the lid. The case is hard plastic and not silicone which if dropped could be broken. The lid popped off easily. A bit resistant and trouble getting the brushes to twist up and eventually could get stuck or jammed. Pastel colors and elegant design. I was so tickled when I opened it up, this is a super cute all in one kit. I do think it'd be better appreciated by a younger teen since some of the features are a bit too fiddly to be practical. The tiny mirror in the lid is such a neat feature, but it's really not big enough to be practical for anything more than a lip touch-up. The twist up function is cute but a bag takes up less space. My one genuine complaint is getting the cap back on the powder brush is nearly impossible without wrapping the bristles from the bottom. Poor choice, there.
