I bought this to do some extreme ding dong ditching. I have a friend whose house is across a plot of desert landscape. Right after I ring the door bell I then run back into the desert to hide to observe any potential reactions. I am maybe 30 feet away from his front door and have yet to be spotted. Granted it was night time. I have a buddy that joined in on the shenanigans and bought the same ghillie suit and despite him only being 10 feet away from me, it was very hard for me to pick him out. This ghillie suit isn't horrible but it also isn't the best. Design seems like it was quickly done and cheaply made. It is your normal brown green and tan colors. It is fairly light weight. There are no pockets for any storage of things you may need however. So choose wisely.

I bought this ghillie suit with high hopes of becoming a true camouflage ninja, and for the price, it did not disappoint! If you’re looking to vanish into the woods or scare your friends from a shrub, this suit will help you do it... at least once. The suit itself looks pretty legit; I felt like a bush had finally come to life. However, after one rough encounter with some actual bushes, the material started shedding like a shaggy dog in summer. I left more leaves behind than a fall tree. It’s like the suit is working in reverse—now the forest is trying to blend in with me. Durability is about what you’d expect when paying more for a cup of coffee than a piece of outdoor gear. I wouldn’t recommend crawling through thorny underbrush or diving into combat with this suit (unless your camouflage plan is to disintegrate into a pile of faux foliage). But for casual outdoor shenanigans, Halloween, or confusing your neighbors by pretending to be their new hedge, it gets the job done! Would I trust this suit for heavy-duty outdoor use? Nah.
