I got this SISICHIC body chain mostly out of curiosity because I’ve never owned a body chain like this before. I thought it might look pretty over a dress or a swimsuit, and the cubic zirconias immediately caught my eye. I also figured that if it didn’t work out as a body chain, I could shorten it and turn it into a necklace. * Overview: Per the product description, this is an 18K gold plated body chain made from 316L surgical stainless steel with AAAAA cubic zirconia links. It’s designed to be worn across the chest, waist, hips, or over swimwear, and it comes with adjustable clasps. * Style & Appearance: The overall look is very pretty and eye-catching. It has a delicate, draped appearance that would photograph well. And, yes, it definitely draws attention when worn over clothing or a swimsuit. * CZ Quality & Sparkle: The cubic zirconias are not extremely sparkly, but they look pretty good and catch light in a softer way. They’re striking enough to notice without looking overly flashy. But are they actually AAAAA CZs? They don't look like my other CZs of that quality, and I'll just leave that right there. * Color & Finish: The 18K gold plating color looks nice and even. Visually, it reads like 18K gold plating. The tag that comes with the chain lists the material as stainless steel rather than gold-plated, which is a little confusing (and doesn't look so great for gifting), but the finish itself looks good. * Fit & Adjustability: The chain is adjustable with clasps, which helps with sizing and placement. It's a little hard to get on and off if you’re not used to wearing body chains. * Comfort: It’s not as comfortable as I would’ve liked, but that’s more about me not being used to wearing something like this than a flaw in the chain itself, as best as I can tell. * Craftsmanship & Construction: The main chain feels like good quality and doesn’t feel flimsy. However, some of the small loop closures that connect the CZs to each other were slightly open. That could be an issue over time, since those links could work loose and potentially fall apart. * Functionality: It works like it's supposed to as a body chain, but you do need a bit of patience putting it on. If you have basic jewelry pliers, it would be easy to shorten this and repurpose it as a necklace. * Versatility: This could be worn over dresses, swimwear, or styled for special occasions. I like that it’s flexible enough to be modified into another piece if you don’t end up loving it as a body chain. * Giftability: It comes in a gift box, which is a nice touch and makes it feel more complete if you’re giving it as a present. * Anticipated Durability: The stainless steel chain itself seems durable. The long-term concern would be the small CZ link closures unless they’re tightened. * Value for the Cost: At 9.99, this is a good value. The look, materials, and presentation justify the cost. * Bottom Line: This is a very pretty, eye-catching body chain with decent CZs and a nice gold finish. Gorgeous body chain that is well proportioned and accented with playful zirconias. The material is thick enough for it to be strong, while not looking like a dog chain. I'm a little conflicted about this Cubic Zirconia Hypoallergenic 316L Surgical Stainless Steel 18K Gold Body Chain. If it's 18K gold plated, why the stainless steal paper hanger label stapled over the item? I've added pics that show the actual color of the metal as well. It is very bright yellow, like a cheap paint or dried alcohol ink. The packaging also reads dollar store item. So why do I feel conflicted? Because cheap or not, it's still pretty. I felt extra feminine and kind of sexy, as soon as I tried it on. I also think it would be eye-catching worn backwards with an open backed top or a pretty sundress, the stones falling between your shoulder blades.

Great looking body chain! I wore it over a bikini (I'm in Florida, and it is hot in January at times), and I got compliments for days. I didn't wear it into the water (I was at the pool) because I was afraid it would tarnish. You can actually wear this over clothing, and it would still look good. Just like a really cool necklace. So I would call this a versatile piece. The size was as expected, and it fit around me easily. I would say one size fits most though. I don't think every single person in the world could wear something like this, unfortunately. I'm not sure about it's tarnish resistance as I've only worn it once, and it did not tarnish when I did wear it, it is very comfortable, and I think it's absolutely worth the money. It's a cute chain that anyone can wear with anything to elevate any outfit. Full marks all around.
