So many pieces... First, assembly. This has a lot of pieces... I mean a lot of pieces. Hubby put this together in about 1 hour. The pieces were clearly marked, everything lined up correctly, and instructions were clear. A little allen-wrench tool was included, but a screwdriver was still needed to screw in the drawer handles. Measurements: I measured the desk at about 55" long, 18" deep, and 30 1/2" inches tall. So, double check your space before ordering. With 55" of top surface, I can fit my laptop, notes, and my snacks comfortably. It doesn't feel crowded. Lookie Looks: Looks-wise, this desk presents nicely. If you were just walking by it, it doesn't look cheap. But if you stopped and zeroed in...well....it does look a little cheap. The fabric drawers throw it off. Fabric Drawers: This is my first experience with fabric drawers on furniture. I am not a fan! Yeah, they work. I think it gives the desk a cheaper look. Also, I am thinking about dust and trying to clean it. But, that is me thinking about future issues, not a current problem. If given the choice, I would definitely choose another drawer style. Value: At the time of this review, this desk was around $105. I think that is a very good value if you need a longer style desk, but need to keep cost low. I would say, if your budget is tight, this is a good option. Setup: I put this desk in my master bedroom so I could work on my laptop at night if I need to. I felt like that was a good option so that it got some use, but not heavy use. Overall: I am going to give this desk 5 stars. The reason why is because if you order this desk, you know what you are getting. The only thing that is off (in my opinion) is the measurement length. Everything else in the description is accurate. I think if you take care of this desk, you could definitely get years out of this. ... show more

I put this desk together by myself and it took more than an hour. It would have been easier with two people doing it. Then I realized I put something together backwards, so the next night I had to change it around. Then I thought I had it correct, until I put the drawers in and found out I did another thing backwards… so I had to undo some more stuff and redo it the correct way. Whew! Now it’s put together and I can’t be happier. My old desk was solid wood, it had one drawer and was so heavy. The new desk is lightweight and has six drawers to store things in. The only thing I miss is a pull out shelf for the keyboard, but I’ll sacrifice that for the added storage. I’ll say that the directions are easy to follow, but apparently I missed a few things since I had to undo sections twice. At least that was easy to do. I really like the look of this desk and it is narrower than my old desk so it makes the room look bigger. ... show more
