I purchased this mug for my husband for his soup. The quality is nice, it is easy to get in and out of the microwave using the handy handle, and it is certainly large enough to hold as much soup as his heart desires. (Or ice cream!) He loves coffee and at first thought it was a new coffee mug. His eyes got huge because it could probably hold close to an entire pot, it's LARGE! I have been looking for a cup this size for the better part of 5 years! On the right is the original cup I have, that I use for everything. I use it for oatmeal, it'll easily hold two cans of soup in it for dinner and this is a good find for me. This cup is not for everybody but I love these things! Who wouldn't want a cereal bowl with a handle on it? The first thing I did after receiving these was literally to wash them and throw one in the microwave with a bunch of soup in it. A big old bowl of chicken noodle soup, homemade. The packaging was great, the entire cup was enveloped in styrofoam which keeps it from moving or breaking. I ordered two of these with high hopes and it exceeded my expectations. I would like to thank the seller for selling these because it is exactly what I was looking for. If you need an idea on how big it is, if you remember those big old Christmas mugs like the one I have pictured on the right that you stuff a bunch of candies, junk and candy canes and what not in, this is it, this is how big it is. ... show more
