This is my first airsoft gun I've ever owned and I love it. It has a nice weight to it, it is almost entirely metal except for the grips on the side. The built-in screw thing on the bottom of the magazine is convenient, but it also means I can't stand it up on my desk or shelf. The safety gets a little loose sometimes and will either fall back to unsafe (or whatever you call it) or the slide will go under it. So lately I've simply been pulling the slide back and flipping up the slide lock so the hammer can't even touch the striking pin. In terms of accuracy, I think the gun is alright, my target is so messed up I can hardly tell where the bullets hit, but it remains fairly accurate to distances up to thirty feet. I don't have a FPS counter or anything, but I've heard people have gotten this gun to go as high as a thousand feet per second. ... show more

    • Too powerful, banned at airaoft field
My son liked the feel of this gun, but it was TOO powerful for the airsoft field he plays it, so he couldn't use it. We had to return it because I want him to be able to use it a the field. Nice gun, not as accurate as the replacement I got him. It was clocked at 2.7 joules.

    • Still working great nearly a year later!
The reviews on this were a bit hit and miss so I was somewhat nervous about purchasing this product as a Christmas gift for my son last year. In the end, it works great and both my son and myself are glad I did! Nearly a year later it is still working strong and seems as though it will be for the foreseeable future. This gun is actually quite heavy and seems to be made of quality materials ensuring it's durability. The CO2 cartridges do go relatively quickly, I would recommend buying them in bulk on Amazon in addition obviously to bb's. The gun is easy enough to load for a 9-year-old, and has no jamming or faulty firing issues. The velocity is obviously enough that it could hurt someone if fired at them, luckily my son has been responsible and we've had no such issues. ... show more

    • A must buy for new and old airsoft players!
I own an actual 1911 and the guns practically look the same. There is a noticeable weight difference but it still has a good bit of weight to it. With 12 gram Co2 cartridges from crossman you get an easy 6-10 mags. (There is a very noticeable dropoff in fps when you get about 5-6 mags in.) When put through the chrono it is all over the place. It got as low as 320 and as high as 700! If they chrono test it before you get on the field you will just have to pray you dont get a 700. Overall, it just looks and feels right, accuracy isn't the best but at close range I'll bet this thing will easily shred. The magazine does leak out alot when you first put the mag in but if you are quick you can get it to stop in time for an extra few mags. The adjustable sight is a bit of a useless feature in my opinion but the rail on the bottom for laser attachments and such definitely makes up for it. I will 100% be bringing this with me to my next airsoft tournament. The safety definitely requires some delicacy because it seems to be made out of plastic. The safety could easily break if you aren't careful. I do recommend this gun to all new or old airsoft players. It is genuinely fun to shoot. (It is also really loud so if you live in a city I don't recommend taking it outside.) ... show more

the seal for the cartridge broke and is leaking after only about 200 rounds and now every time i shoot it, it sprays gas back at me and it wastes a cartidge of CO2

    • Ok gun but has problems buy a different one
This pistol is an ok gun but there are a bit of problems with it. It doesn't shoot 500 fps at all it shoots a lot lower than that. Also the gas system is very weak because after using around 10 Co2's it broke and just kept blowing gas everywhere.
