TL;DR below! I realize for a while I've been surrounded by clutter, scattered about my living area. I grew tired of it and figured I should just go ahead and pay for some vertical space where I can put my things, so they'd be easy to reach but still out of the way and off of the floor. (You know, little piles of junk in corners where they don't need to be). Anyways, I had previously purchased a bookshelf that looked exactly the same as this one. I wanted to buy another one, except the first one I purchased was around $90 or so dollars. I really just wanted to save a couple of bucks and since I wasn't expecting guests to come over and root around my belongings, I went ahead and bought it. Here are some ratings: Assembly: took me about an hour. That's probably longer than usual, could've taken me 30 minutes but I was distracted and also lazy. The guide is really poorly thrown together. They don't include anything like a mini screwdriver (but I guess you get what you pay for). They have an extremely deranged way of screwing the shelves in. They use a cam lock nut (???) which is not what you'd usually ever find. But I guess that's their prerogative. Anyways, that's what makes it take longer. The other baffling thing is the way in which you attach the top half of the bars to the bottom half. I attached a photo of they way they did it. It looks incredibly cheap and not at all as sleep as my other shelf (sorry to keep bringing that up...) Sturdiness: Yeah, I'd say it's sturdy. My only complaint is what I mentioned above. The top half is kinda just... bolted on the bottom half. It doesn't look great. TL;DR: Overall, meh. I'm not going to complain too much, it was cheaper than the better one that I have. and it's for junk. This shelf has a 95 dollar listing price which is laughable. The 87 that I paid, even now I'm shocked that I paid so much. It's alright for the price. However, if you really want better quality, and have a few bucks to spare, go with the CosyStar 5 shelf. It's 90 bucks but much more worth the price. ... show more

    • Directions are very lacking, but separation of labelled parts is great.
I had to rebuild the connectors multiple times, as the directions are lacking. However it does a great job having each item you need a separate labelled bag, so finding the correct piece is easy. The shelves are not perfectly flush with one another, but no one will notice except for you when you put it together. I have heavy hardcover books on most of the shelves and it holds them easily, with no problems. Very stable! ... show more

Was looking for a good plant stand for a sun porch, and this fits perfectly. It’s very sturdy and centered even without the wall straps, the adjustable feet are a wonderful touch, and it has just enough of an industrial look without trying too hard. The one knock is that it’s missing a drill hole in the frame for the top shelf - but it’s so solid overall that I’m not worried about it and it’s not worth exchanging/etc. ... show more

The first part of putting this together needs more instructions. Look for the 2 holes on the sides that are for the rods that are to stabilize the rack. Once you figure that out the rest is easy.

Bookshelf was shipped quickly with excellent packaging. Impressed with how sturdy and well painted the frame is and the quality of the shelves (stained evenly on all surfaces). We looked and looked for a shelf to fit a wall space in our media room. This is the one that we picked and glad that we did. It is sturdy and well built. EVERYBODY that has seen it so far have told us that they love it without being asked. I am impressed with this book case. It is heavy and very sturdy. It is easy to put together and I have gotten tons of compliments on it. You will need book ends if you plan to put books on it as they fall out the sides. I am happy with my purchase.

This looks nice but one of two of the brackets that holds the top and bottom bars together were bent open too far and the screws would not fit. What took me twenty minutes to put my first one together took me 3 hours because I had to improvise. Never ordering from this company again. I would have returned it but I would probably get another one with something else wrong 😑. ... show more
