Great product. Firm and stable. Easy to assemble. Looks great. Shelves are strong enough to carry a full load of canned foods or bottles of water. The unit is braced in back. Excellent! This was my second attempt at installing shelves in my closet. The first was a Shingay set of shelves that I hated. I found them almost impossible to assemble, the plastic clips holding the shelves kept popping off, and I could not get the shelves to stop wobbling. So I looked around and settled on the CosyStar metal set of shelves, and love it. Highly recommended.

I have purchased these bookcases twice, once March 2021 and again April 2021 cause I had more stuff. I have a lot of projects and books, so I needed everything to fit on these shelves for easy access and to have my hobbies in a central location. I am in the market for yet another bookcase for my closet cause, what can I say - I have more stuff lol. That led me back to this one and I noticed, that I had not written a review of this great product. Assembly was easy for me cause I like to put stuff together and they provided all the hardware needed. I love the industrial look of the bookcases and shelving is great. The shelves almost look distressed which is another plus. I did not need the bit offered to attach the shelves to the wall, because the cases are very sturdy in my opinion. Because I was mindful of what I was putting on the shelves, as you can tell after 3 years there is no sagging of the shelves and a few of those shelves is holding quite a load. I love them and would highly recommend.

Update Jan 2026 I have two of these bookcases. They are completely full of books. I thought they were giing to give out from all the weight at some point, but they're still looking great and going strong. Original review: This is a sturdy little bookcase. I am a petite woman and put it together by myself in less than an hour (it could've gone faster, but my 9-year-old son and dog were trying to help). The instructions are very straightforward, and the components are clearly marked. On arrival, the box looked a little beaten up, but the interior packaging was fine. It was well packed! It had a nice styrofoam layer that fit tightly and did not allow the pieces to move within the box. It was easy to put together, and it came with the necessary tool (screwdriver). The leveling feet are a nice touch as my floors are over 20 years old and not that leveled anymore in some sections. Once leveled, it is pretty stable. I only noted one defect, but it mostly aesthetic. Where the top and bottom supports join, they don't align quite perfectly, but you can only see it if you get close (see pictures). However, I don't think this affects the structural soundness of the bookshelf. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this purchase so far. I've only had it set up for a few days, so I will update my review after using it for a few months.
