    • Timer ruins game
The timer makes a squeaky noise (intentionally) plus the balls rolling is loud. The timer starting so loudly I find it really distracting as does my 6 year old. My 2 year old wouldn't let us use the timer the first 2-3 times I tried to play the game with her older sibling she wouldn't let us have the timer...it does look and sound like one of those baby rattle "rainsticks" so she understandably wants to play with it. Other reviewers mention it definitely doesn't time a full 5 seconds either--which I didn't think to time but I definitely felt like it was the fastest 5 seconds when trying to use it. the cards are cheap and the board and game pieces are super basic, making the box is much bigger than it really needs to be for the components. I have limited storage space for games I prefer games that store better. This game could be repackaged into a "spot it" style tin and since the board itself is so simplistic they could honestly just make a magnetic board on a tin big enough for the card deck. It will most likely go to the thrift store on my next trip to donate. ... show more
