Whelp that thing called age made me need these...LOL Went for annual eye check up. Was told I could pick up my required reading glasses at a drugstore. Of course I thought no way those are for old people. Sure enough Amazon had what I needed. I really like the style and colors. Also it's great for looking up and seeing normal. Because it's a half lens reading glasses. The price was great. Also you get a large lens wipe cleaning cloth and a cloth holding sack for the reading glasses. With increasing age, my sleep has been... lousy. It finally occurred to me that blue light might be part of the problem. At least, it's an easily correctable item. So, I ordered the glasses. Held old pair (non blue light blocking) and the new ones, rotating between them. To my surprise, I could easily see the difference. So, I started wearing these glasses. They are heavier frames, but I'm adjusting to that. They feel quite sturdy. I have a huge head, but these glasses are surprisingly comfortable. I thought I was going to get five cheap quality glasses, but I was very surprised. First off, the lenses are not paper thin like some of the glasses I bought. I've already dropped them on the floor and no scratched. They don't distort the colors on the screen like my amber glasses which is important since I'm a software test engineer and need to occasionally verify the proper colors are being used. I am at my computer nearly 10-14 hours a day and my eye strain has greatly reduced. The plastic frames feel like they'll hold up well and they have a slight spring to them that will help them not snap. These are very sturdy, yet light weight, reading glasses that do have a blue tint. Mine did come wrapped in a thin plastic bag to protect against scratching. Most importantly they fit well on my face, and are light weight. I only needed .75 and was happy to see these glasses offered in that low of a magnification. As I do a lot of reading, I’m definitely looking forward to less eye strain. And for such a good price, I can afford to have a pair of glasses in each room…. Since I can’t remember what I had for breakfast this morning, having a pair of glasses in each room is the bomb :) ... show more

They seem sturdy enough (just received) and they are great for blocking blue light. Lightweight and very comfortable. However, I ordered a 4 magnification, and they don't seem as strong as the 3.5 I already have. They work ok, but everything I try to read has a slight blur to it... same with using them for the Computer. It might be that I just need to use them and get used to them, and I'll update my review if they work out. Ok, tried them out, while they are very nice, they are NOT 4.0 magnification... They are closer to 3.0... which is useless to me, I need the 4.0. ... show more

I had a pair with an almost identical frame, which lasted me almost 10 years! Over the years, I had tried to find the same glasses and couldn't find them anywhere. I bought a few other pairs of reading glasses over the years (prescription and at the drug stores) and didn't care for them much. They fit funny, felt too light or heavy, or would slide off my face when I looked down. When my beloved pair of reading glasses finally broke, I bought this set on a whim, and now, I couldn't be happier!
