Was so impressed with this! I was worried since it had no reviews when I purchased it but it’s really high quality materials and very heavy and durable. I was a little worried opening the box and seeing all the pieces but the instructions were thorough and clear. It took some time to assemble and was a two person job but easy to do. I bought this for my sons birthday and we love it. It is a LOT to put together and a LOT of pieces so be prepared! But when it is built it looks just like the picture and has a lot of storage. My son sits in the playroom every morning coloring or painting and he fits very nicely at 4 years old. I have even sat in the seats myself and fit but obviously my knees dont fit under the desk unless i put my legs out. Very cute desk and is still holding up well after two months. It is a nice heavy quality.

The media could not be loaded. A few issues to call out, in increasing severity: 1. This says 45 minutes to construct. I’m reasonably adept and it took me a touch over 2 hours. I’d expect longer for most, especially if not using power tools. There are 352 pieces (including hardware) to put together across 43 steps. 2. The drawer is on really flimsy guide with only a plastic pin on either side to hold it in. The pins are loose, don’t seem durable (see: plastic), and they’re really not long enough to keep the drawer in the guide rails as-is. 3. The tabletop that converts into an easel/storage area seems ingenious at first glance, but it’s a significant durability and safety issue. Don’t be fooled by the kickstand that screw into the top: that only keeps it secured when it’s been opened to a specific angle. The top is otherwise only attached by its hinges. When opening/closing the top, the kickstand does nothing to keep the top from flying too far open and ripping off the hinges nor does it keep the top from slamming closed on your little ones’ hands, fingers, heads, etc. when closing it. This should absolutely have a pair of gas pistons on it, to keep ensure it opens and closes in a controlled, safe fashion. As is, I’ll likely be sending this back as my little one’s hands, arms and head are absolutely not safe round this table top.

My grandson loves this desk. My son however, said it was quite difficult to put together. Overall, I would recommend it. I love the 2 chairs it comes with and it has a Lot of storage. The desk is great for arts and crafts and clean up is a breeze.

Overall a great product for the price. My only complaint would be the chairs aren’t great. They’re good but we did use epoxy on the chairs to make them more sturdy.
