  • Very comfortable
Color: Dark Navy Size: 34W x 34L
Very comfortable and the material holds up to years of wear and tear. Lots of pockets. Great waist band

  • High quality pants!
Color: Dark Navy Size: 40W x 36L
I used for my clinicals, didn't tear or break. Was comfortable. Was a bit too large in the waist for me, but it fit just fine with a belt. I'm a 250 6' 7", so the fact that these fit is totally weird, but awesome!

  • Securely Carries My Stuff
Color: Charcoal Size: 34W x 30L
I purchased a pair of these at a local thrift store and liked them so much I brought a second pair from Amazon. I like deep front and back pockets, Velcro side pockets, flexible waistband, and large belt loops. I can carry my stuff and not worry about losing something. Although mostly polyester, they are comfortable in the summer heat because they fit me loosely (baggy). I probably could have ordered a size smaller (32 instead of 34) and they would fit better. They cost more than my usual cheap jeans, but they are nice casual pants. ... show more

  • Great pants but I receieved the wrong color
Color: Charcoal Size: 34W x 32L
Ordered two charcoal color pants and received one charcoal and one black. Couldn't be bothered with trying to return it. But the pants themselves are great. Comfortable, good pocket locations and sizes (not a fan of the velcro on the back pocket), they seem durable, not as breathable as I expected and I think they run a little longer than the size shows. I wear a 32 length and these pants drag on the ground a bit when I'm not wearing footwear. All-in-all I would recommend and will be ordering more later. ... show more

  • Most comfortable and functional pants I've owned!
Color: Charcoal Size: 34W x 30L
I grew up wearing jeans. I like the feeling of "rugged and durable, but comfortable at the same time". I don't like wearing sweats or softer material pants because my legs feel... unprotected? That may sound crazy, but I've gotten so used to feeling something substantial on my legs and it gives a sense of security (yes, possibly false security and it's purely psychological). Jeans, however, can be heavy and restrictive. I always look for "relaxed fit" or "loose fit", and that seems to help. Over the past few years I've discovered that products designed for military and law enforcement use tend to be high quality and work very well for their intended purpose. I'm not in the military or a cop, and I'm sure those who ARE might laugh at what I just said, because they probably use some gear that was poorly designed or has other issues. My experience with tactical clothing and gear for civilian use has been very positive. So I thought I'd give these pants a try as a stubstitute for the carpenter jeans I normally wear for everything that isn't work or church. Town, hiking, around the house, etc. I couldn't be more pleased! These pants fit perfectly when I ordered my normal jean size. They are very comfortable and more flexible than jeans. I really like they way they feel. I don't think they are baggy, but I do prefer looser fitting pants. Because they are 60% polyester 40% cotton, they don't breath quite as well as 100% cotton, but this blend also makes them more durable and resistant to spills. I got caught in the rain wearing them, and when I got inside, I literally slapped the water off them leaving them mostly dry. They aren't waterproof if you really get soaked, obviously. I ordered a pair of Blackhawk Lightweight Tactical pants at the same time for comparison. The Blackhawk feel heavier and have more pockets. I probably prefer the 5.11 because of the lighter, more comfortable feel and more colors available. I like "charcoal" and "coyote brown" better than regular "khaki tan". Both are great pants and I put them right back on as soon as I wash them. One thing to note, the 5.11 Taclite Pro have an gathered material, elastic waistband, while the Blackhawk Lightweight Tactical have a smooth, expanding waistband (internal elastic bands and sliding tabs, instead of gathered material) which might be more comfortable, but again, heavier feeling. So bottom line, I use them for a wide range activities from shopping to weekend hiking and photography. They are handy for just about any activity. Are they worth paying a little more than jeans? In my opinion, definitely! ... show more

  • The most important review you'll read on these pants.
Color: Tundra Size: 38W x 34L
I'd like to start off by saying, I'm not a LEO or Military professional. I'm just a guy from Texas that chooses function over form, in almost every aspect of my life. The reason I'm giving these pants 5 stars is because of their function, but there are some serious issues if you want them solely for appearance. For starters, they are NOT "True" fitting. I prefer loose fitting pants and 36/34 is the perfect all around size for that. Regardless of brand or price, 36/34 is either "Just right" or "A little loose". However, I could barely button these. I sent them back and re-ordered them in 38/34 and now they fit perfect. The next issue is that some of the colors aren't the same as what's shown in photos. The "Storm" is a lighter grey than what's shown, the "OD Green" looks more like Ranger Green, and the "Tundra" is actually OD green. That said "Stone" does look like the photos. The last "issue" is that they are "shiny" like uniform pants. You can't really see it in photos (even user submitted photos), but they have a sheen to them that feels like a military or LEO dress pant. I'm not sure if this was intentional, or an unintentional side affect of the waterproof teflon coating. I wish they were more like BDU pants, but it isn't as bad on the lighter colors. On to the GOOD! They are SUPER comfortable. They appear as though (in photos) that they are a slim fit, but they are very much a relaxed fit. I could (and will eventually) sleep in them. The pockets are amazing. The cargo pockets are at a good position for ease of access. I'm 6'3" and have longer arms, so this may vary based on your body shape/size. The extra pockets are the right size for everything you want them to be. The "pen" pocket is big enough for a small flashlight (handheld, not pen sized) and the magazine pocket will hold a full size 17 round Beretta mag. The rear pockets are just deep enough. If you carry a wallet in your back pocket, it will rest in a position that's most comfortable while sitting. You won't be sitting on your wallet ever again. I also love the elastic bands that form to your waist. You won't NEED a belt to keep them up, but the belt loops accommodate a 1.75" gun/duty belt with ease. You won't have to "force" the belt strap through the loops, like you do with most other pants. I am obsessed with pouring liquids on them, because it's so fun watching it all roll off the pants, not leaving any stains or discoloration whatsoever. ... show more
